### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The best Cameras on a Smartphone! Period.
*by A***R on 18 November 2020*

I wanted Samsung to launch the Snapdragon version in India. But as we know how Samsung is, they went with the Exynos. It's not that big of a deal, but the battery life is terrible. If you are a power user then you'll have to plug in at least once in between the day. Also, it heats up randomly but it's not that bad. Hoping Samsung provides a software fix for this on priority.Let's get to the point of why I bought this phone. The Triple Camera setup! The pictures taken via the FE are almost true to life. Samsung has come a long way in the camera processing department which just kills the 8T or for the fact the Pixel 5 (by looking at the international version compared by tech reviewers).Nevertheless, I'm happy with the purchase. Deducting 1 star just because of the battery and the random warmness.UPDATE AFTER 15 DAYS: It's still the best smartphone you can buy if you are a camera buff or a photographer. Personally, I bought the smartphone because of the Cameras. Samsung has upped its notch in the smartphone camera segment. The photos clicked from the S20 FE are vibrant, a bit contrasty (which can be edited with snapspeed) and the highlights and shadows are on point! If you are not a heavy user then you'll get through the day without plugging the phone in for charging. As for me, I'm a low to mid-heavy user so I do plug in the phone once a day since as you know keeping your charge levels between 40-80% is better for the longevity of the battery health.Giving back the 1 - star as I feel this is the best smartphone in the price range you can buy. Period!

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Specs are not everything
*by S***A on 1 August 2021*

While choosing a new phone, I had to consider a lot of things. I thought about going with OnePlus Nord 2 but after a lot of back and forth, I choosed this. There were great things about this phone,I'll mention them one by one.Display- The first plus point will of course be the display,it's 120hz, 2400*1080, which is plenty according to me, as I cannot see the difference between quad hd,it's plenty bright, HDR 10+, and overall great.Camera- This was a big deciding factor, having used OnePlus camera, there were some things lacking, I was expecting it to perform pretty well. Now megapixels are not everything, but I can't help but notice that the 8mp telephoto camera is a lot softer than the main and ultrawide. But at this price range, the photos are stunning and amazing, it's nice that samsung decided to put a telephoto instead of depth or macro which are useless. You get plenty software tricks like single take and live focus video, which work better than expected, and taking the price I would say it's the best in the 36k price.Software- I am not the biggest fan of one ui, I am more inclined towards stock that's why I like OnePlus oxygen os. But there is a reason it exists, there are many, many and many software tricks that makes one ui feel a samsung phone. I would not go into everything, but one feature stands out, samsung dex, I did not expect to be using dex, but finally seeing it made me realise the the level of polish that it had to look like a windows desktop on your TV. but the overall asthetic of the os is not for me,it's okay but I would still prefer stock.Performance- this is the most talked about and negetive aspect of this phone, the Exynos processing is overall inferior to Snapdragon but nobody considers what price it comes at, it is the same processor that you would find in note 20 ultra, you can find a sd 870 at this price but the overall performance is okay, no problem. It does give a hit to the battery life, but I still got 6.46 hrs of screen on time which is great. Another huge asterisk is overheating, now I have experienced overheating only once which was while using dex, maybe this was because I don't do much heavy work on my phone, that part is usually for laptop, but except some fps drops, it was good.Build and other- This phone had a plastic back, and I prefer it over glass, for one it is matte, which I love over glossy glass and it is more shatter resistance, and moreover I use a case anyway. Another great factor is ip68 which is very rare at this price, and it has wireless and reverse wireless charging, which is very useful if you have invested in samsung ecosystem like I have with buds plus and watch which you can charge at the back of your phone.Another thing I would like to mention is the packing was a little sketchy as the seal was damaged.Edit- After two weeks I noticed that the camera quality is really nice, due to Samsung's image processing algorithms, but the video quality is very poor, it has much rainbowing and is just very dark. Also there are some software bugs like the camera is randomly opening and the mic is getting randomly muted between calls, but it's minor.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Pro grade camera, average battery
*by S***V on 16 December 2020*

First, this has Exonos chip hence performance is less than snapdragon. Now will that affact you depends on your usage. For day to use with social media application, youtube, media streaming and browsing, performance is good. No issues there. For heavy gaming, this chipset may not have same horsepower as top end qualcomm chip.As far as camera goes, it is pro grade and comparable to iphone 11. It will trounce oneplus 8t day day no comparison there. So, if camera is important the it is one of best mobile out there. Camera module does heat while taking pictures and also has above average battery drain but in my opinion the quality of pictures will outweighs that. Otherwise the battery consumption is average.Display is top notch so is the call quality.Another plus is samsung pay, ip68 water resistance and wireless charging. So if you are looking at a phone which has a pro grade camera and can do all normal stuff, s20 fe is a good choice. Don't be too too concerned about Exonos, it has more than enough performance for everyday use. In my opinion, it is a better buy than oneplus 8t
