Read this book everyone , its a beautiful story about an unconventional family. It shows money and fame are not the most important things in life, and can be taken away in the blink of an eye.

Couldn’t put the book down it was exceptionally written, extremely interesting and gave an in-depth history of the Gucci family

This was a gift for my Mom, she enjoyed it.

A deeply personal account of the patriarch behind the brand history and the author's own childhood in the company's heyday in the 70s & 80s. Beautifully written, it speaks to men, women and children whose actions have gone unheard. The book restores one's faith in humanity on so many levels - tenderness, tolerance, generosity, magnanimity - by underscoring both the presence and the absence of such virtues in the characters that inhabit the house of Gucci.

Easy read

I wasn't sure if this was going to read like a tabloid, but was quite pleasantly surprised by the honest and touching narrative of the relationship of Patricia Gucci's parents, and the family dynamic of the Gucci family. I was extra surprised when I found myself crying through one of the passages. Highly recommended.

this is a wonderful love story. i have just started to read it and i am captured. i love the way his daughter writes. it is just lovely.
