I have put mine through all kinds of abuse and it still works great. The only problem is that the chuck is difficult to get it tight, and even when I get it as tight as I can, loosens up with moderate use. This chuck is the perfect solution. It is easy to tighten and holds bits without issue. HOW TO REMOVE THE OLD CHUCK AND INSTALL THE NEW ONE: You need aT20 torx wrench like this: Stanley 60-012 T20 Standard Torx Screwdriver. 1. stick the T20 wrench into the chuck opening and turn clockwise to loosen and remove the screw while holding the chuck with your other hand. It is on tight, so it will require some force to break it loose. 2. unscrew the old chuck turning it counter clockwise. 3. reverse the steps to install the new chuck.
