How often should the membrane be replaced?

Depends on usage, about two gallons per day of drinking water, 4 years

I have a plus deluxe vx that uses 9309 and 9307. it is 12 years old. the center cartridge has no color. will the 12752a be the ro replacement i need?

The 12752A is for the Kinetico K5 system. I had an older Kinetico system before I replaced it with this model. The membrane would not have fit that unit.
