Goddard's Jewelry Cleaner works exactly as promised. I had been planning on taking my diamond wedding rings, various precious stone, gold and silver rings, bracelets and necklaces to the jewelers to have cleaned. This proved to be an expensive proposition. Instead, I purchased this product and followed the directions. After a few minutes and a scrub with the brush provided in the container, my jewelry came out shiny, clean, and sparkling. SUCH a good product. Highly recommend.

I was going through my jewelry and realized I had a lot of jewelry that was tarnished. I have polishing cloths and a paste but they're kinda a pain, especially for chains, and I wanted something quicker so I ordered this. When I was a teenager I had something similar that worked great. This is does not. I tried leaving things in longer. I pulled them out, wiped them down, and tried a second soak. Nothing made this product more than barely effective. It might be a decent cleaner but it absolutely does not remove tarnish. I threw it in the trash.

I love this stuff! Great for cleaning my wedding ring, earrings and even pearls.

I thought it would remove the tarnish and bring the silver back to life. After dipping my pieces 3-4 times and rubbing off a little more each time, I gave up. The backs of my turquoise/silver earrings are still dull and dirty looking. It did very little for my gold rings. I have lots left. I will probably try again before wearing my beloved pieces. But I'm not optimistic.

Good product - works well

This is easy to use and can be used multiple times, so I say it's durable. I used it for my sterling silver cross (which had tarnishing) & its chain, stainless steel nameplate, and white gold hoop earrings. My nameplate is bright and new looking as are my earrings after the 2 minute soak. However, though the chain to my cross and back of the cross are brighter, the tarnish remains on the front; I let it soak more than the 2 minutes (about 6 minutes) and used the brush but it remains tarnished. I appreciate the speed of cleaning, but I specifically bought this because it advertised being a tarnish remover. It's great for regular cleaning, but it didn't do the work I needed for my cross. Lastly, the smell is strong, but I expect that with jewelry cleaner. I didn't do 'before' pics, but my nameplate and earrings were dull from not being worn for awhile and fingerprints, but now they look like when I bought them. As for my cross, you can see the tarnish which is the same as 'before'.

I’ve been using Godard’s for over half a century. It’s still the quickest and best tarnish remover on silvertone.
