Top Germinator
Pleasantly surprised that I had such a high germination rate!

Fast Germination!
I filled 12 seed cells with seed starting mix, and then planted 2 seeds in each cell. In six of the cells I left the seeds uncovered (as instructed on the packet) while the other six cells I buried the seeds about 1/8-1/4 inch deep. About three to four days later, most all of the seeds germinated (with the exception of two covered seeds and one uncovered seed), and now a week or so later, they're all still doing great! I move the seed trays outside during the day and bring them inside during the evenings under an LED shop light, and then turn out the light before bed.For more information on this variety, just Google "Blue Spice Basil" and lots of information from different plant nurseries will come up.

Save your money and go with African blue
Very difficult to grow by seed. Like sterile African blue basil, probably better started with a cutting.Save your money and get yourself some African blue. Grows up to three feet, similar flavor and the bees adore it.

Fresh Herbs
I used this product for fresh herbs. After I germinated the seeds, they started to grow within a week. I definitely recommend this product 100%.

Somewhat disappointing
I received these seeds very quickly from the sender. However none germinated. I only used about half of the package so will try again in the spring. I purchased these for the pollinators so for this season it was a disappointment.

Good germination
I bought Blue Basil because someone told me it did better in Maryland's summers than the other types I grow. The seeds sprouted quickly in my hydroponic garden and are growing well. I moved a few outside and they are happy there, too, even though it has been hot and super humid for the past few weeks. So far, these basil plants are happier looking than my "Genovese" basil, which have brown spots, but these guys are weeks younger so I'll have to see how they look when they're full size. They taste the same to me. If they have less problems in the heal and humidity, I'll grow the Blue basil in the future!

Easy to germinate.
Easy to germinate. Started it on heat mat with a dome. Once sprouting moved to light. Then I moved them to bigger pots and placed them in the greenhouse. I had this type of basil last year and loved it! So this year I found the seeds and started a bunch more. It’s really great in salad dressings.
