These are perfect for oatmeal cookies, other desserts, salads. I wouldn’t buy any other brand. I buy several packs a year. They freeze well too.

My spouse actually ordered these, not me, but he made two pies with them to take to a party and the pies got devoured. Therefore, I assume 1) these are excellent and delicious walnuts and 2) my spouse is great at making pies.

Baking type walnuts, no salt, or other additives! Still can be a good snack! Walnuts have a lot of good health benefits!!!

Not as tasty as the ones I ate as a child.Not as fresh.

As a child, my father and I collected black walnuts from the ground and shucked them. Then we dried them and cracked them in order to get the good meat from the inside. This process is extremely time-consuming and dirty! Today, I buy Hammonds black walnuts and I find them every bit as tasty and as fresh as if they just came off the tree.. I recommend them to anyone who enjoys the unique flavor of black walnuts. By the way, they are extremely healthy.

The flavor of these wild sourced black walnuts is unique and delicious. Using them to make Pesto, they give a similar character flavor as pine nuts, maybe better. And they don't cost the same as a bar of gold.

Price is high. But I love them. And I didn't get stained or hurt trying to get shell off. HOW DO THE SQUIRRELS DO IT ?THESE TOP QUALITY. don't expect them to taste horrible like those English things
