God Speaks: 30 Days of Positioning Yourself to Hear God's Voice

If you are serious about increasing your intimacy with our Lord, this is the book for you! The author writes that she wrote this book out of her own desperation for a closer relationship with God. The daily prayers are authentic and transparent. The author also challenges her readers to complete an assignment each day that enables one to draw nearer to Jesus. The first time that I read through the devotional, I did not believe that another "30 Days to...." book could help me. But, after reading what the author wrote, I'm more convinced than ever that this book is exactly what I need to continue my journey toward intimacy with my Beloved Savior. To begin the new year right, I plan to take the time needed to draw closer to the Lord using Tameaka Reid Sims' devotional. I encourage you to to do the same! It will be a great gift for yourself, or anyone else, who feels stuck in their relationship with the Father!

God Speaks. And that is exactly what He has done. This masterpiece has allowed me to take a deeper journey in my time with the Father. It has allowed me to recognize the loving Father that He is, as He longs to relate to little ol' me. With each day, there is a strategic focus that intends to provoke the "son" within me to lean in closer to his Daddy. Upon reading the scripture and focus, there is a daily "assignment" that is paramount to the development of relationship with the King! This book has been a blessing to me as I have dedicated my disciplined time to dive into it for the month of September 2017. I am eager to start over in months to come to see what other revelations God decides to speak. Hearing Him so clearly is invaluable and I am grateful for author, Tameaka Reid Sims for her obedience and transparency as she has penned her very own prayer walk through this text, "God Speaks".

This is more than a book. It is a beginning. It is an invitation from God to quiet yourself, and allow Him to focus your attention on your relationship with Him. It is a divine setup to experience Jesus in a whole new and exciting way. God has lovingly placed this tool in Tameaka Reid Sims' hands to get God's people moving missionally and purposefully. She has a humble, passionate and thirst for God that leaps off the pages. Your dry season will be over after you have encountered Jesus in this book. Each day God strategically met me with the topic of the day. It is so important that you do the work though. If you are looking to grow, move, or just hear from the Lord, this coupled with the Bible will unlock a facet of your relationship with God that your soul longs for. Enjoy the journey!!

It has been a true journey of learning to hear and respond to God's voice through this book! It was a special joy to participate in the 30 day journey of the book with the author via Face Book. I thank God for Tameaka Reid Sims and her ministry. This book is something I will return to over and over again! The journey is REAL through this book and your life will forever be changed for the better.

God speaks by Tameaks Sims has provided the discipline to my morning devotion that I really needed. Everyday, I wake up wanting to hear God's voice for my day and my life and these devotionals have changed the way I listen for His voice. If you truly want to hear God's voice, this book forces you to be honest with yourself and honest about your calling. It will spark a daily conversation with you and God that stays with you throughout the day. I'm grateful that I found "God Speaks" at a time when a lot of change is happening in my life.

Good tool for creating a discipline of prayer. Helps one become consistent if they are willing to do the work.

Excellent read. In the last 30 days I have felt the presence of God like never before. I am so glad that I found out about this book. I was at a place in my life where I felt disconnected. This book has drawn me closer to God than I have ever felt. God does speak. We just have to slow down enough to hear the still small voice that utters...you are mine and I love you.

This book knocked down the barriers that I didn't even know existed between me and God. The exercises at the end of each chapter allowed me to search within myself for the keys to opening my senses to reveal what God is telling me. I strongly recommend this book to anyone who is seeking a closer, stronger, more personal relationship with The Lord.
