A long struggle but this helped a lot!
My production was going down longer than I realized and I missed the cues. My family got pounded during virus season and between babyโs appetite waning from not feeling good and my own body fighting infections, I didnโt realize she was hungry - not just getting sick again. ๐ข So I basically had to relactate, not just get my milk going again. For reference I was probably pumping less than half an ounce every few hours between feedings. So I started taking straight fenugreek which made a tiny difference but not enough. I was also eating way more and drinking at least a gallon of water a day. Still not enough. I was on fenugreek until my stomach hurt and 72 hours passed and I was still needing to produce more - at this point I still couldnโt pump a full 2 Oz per day. I read that for many people fenugreek needs to be paired with blessed thistle and thatโs when I turned to the internet and amazon and found this. This helped me break the turning point. So I could consistently nurse and also pump more than 2 Oz a day. I started also taking GoLacta Molunggay pills and my supply has gone up a little every day! Yesterday was my 11th day of relactation and I got more than 5 Oz by the end of the day. This morning with one pumping session I got more than 2 Oz. Iโm giving specifics because this is what I looked for when I was in panic mode and nobody offered specifics and I felt so lost! Iโm still going and increasing each day and my baby is nursing plenty. She is my second child. With my first I made enough milk to serve cereal every morning to the United States Army and never thought I would have an issue with supply but here I am. I love breastfeeding and itโs an important part of this phase of my mothering so Iโm not willing to give up. I completely understand now why people supplement and why some walk away. But if youโre like me and lamenting that all the things that say 72 hours arenโt working for you, you might just be slow to recover like I am. Hang in there! Iโm still also taking fenugreek and molunggay but taking this 3x a day seems to be helping so much that I ordered a second box so I have more before I run out. As for the taste, itโs fine. I wouldnโt order it at a restaurant or anything, but itโll do. It doesnโt dissolve easily when stirred but it blends easily with a blender. I also had good luck shaking it in a jar with a lid. Iโm starting to acquire a taste for it and look forward to drinking it now. Good luck to you all struggling to get the milk bags full!

Use a frother to mix!
I read all the reviews stating this was hard to mix and was left clumpy, and I agree. If you use a spoon to mix this into liquid it will not mix well and you will be drinking little clumps of chocolate powder, which didnโt bother me all that much but I get it. Not ideal. Enter the frother. I had bought one (here on Amazon) for something like $6 because another drink powder product I had purchased recommended it be mixed using a frother. So I tried it with this product and lo and behold, it worked incredibly well. Yes, I like to mix it with milk and yes, it made my cold chocolatey beverage foamy on top. I drink it with a straw. Itโs delicious. The foam eventually dissipates. I love it. Tastes great and I do feel it has helped increase my supply somewhat. Use the frother! It works.

Chocolate Flavor. Would buy again. I recommend this.
This is actually my second time buying this product. I wanted to give it another try. I have horrible milk production other than 3-7 am. I'm older 35, Baby had latch issues early on and breastfeeding has been a struggle. She is now 3 months but I have been zombing out pumping night and day with breastfeeding because she is teething and seems the nipple is making her mouth sensitive so she only wants to breastfeed when she's tired or off and on off and on all day grabbing at her mouth. That has hurt my production like crazy. Going back to work and having time to consume enough water is also a challenge. The first time I noticed I took the product it did increase my levels, maybe not like some mom's reviews but a noticeable difference. I took it 3 times a day, so I only took it for a week. It is pricey but I would say worth the price. Cookies are alot of money too as well as other pill supplements so comparitivly I feel like this is a better bargain. The second time using it I'm doing twice a day. I do it in the morning and mid afternoon. After the first pump, first day I yielded one more once.. to those struggling that's a happy sign this is great because by body processed it right away some people said it took a few days to get going. I hate my Medela pump too it does not work well as Spectra which are apart of some of my pumping issues. Taste.. tastes great! But it has kinks you have to work out. I put it in cold milk or hot milk. You can put it on coffee of you wish. I have one cup of coffee each day so I personally don't want to taint my coffee haha. But chocolate milk does aid milk production anyways. It is extremely hard to blend the poweder which in other reviews are frustrating for some. Get a Blender ball cup and I promise you won't have any issues if you are going the cold route. Hot route put the powder in first add hot milk slowly at a time and whisk until desolved. Or use a blender. The taste is a chocolatey maple-ish taste due to the Fenugreek. Your milk will smell like it. Baby likes the taste so it's fine for me. However some babies are very sensitive to Fenugreek it can hurt their tummies and give them gas so pay attention. I haven't had any issues. There are some teas that do not have fenugreek but it doesn't work as well in my opinion. Lastley with this product I get Fuller breasts faster. It's important to eat healthy I try to add oatmeal to my diet every day. You can also have a beer too which helps the Brewers yeast and barley aids in production. It does not have to be alcoholic to have the affect you can grab a Buckler's or odoules it works great. And you won't make anything if you don't drink fluids and eat properly there is no miracle to avoid that. Being a super mommy is hard and finding time to eat a balanced diet and consume your weight in water is hard! Good luck!

You HAVE to try this drink mix!
The UpSpring Milkflow Fenugreek Chocolate flavor is amazing! I've been wanting to try the powder, but I wasn't too sure about the flavors, so I held off. I randomly came across the chocolate flavor and decided to give it a try. I'm incredibly picky, and I legitimately love this drink. I take a 16 oz water bottle and fill it halfway up with 2% milk and then pour in the powder. I would say to shake it for a minute or so, and then it should be good to go! I've tried mixing it with a spoon, and even using my husbands shaker, but I like the water bottle method much better, plus its definitely more quiet so that helps. I've only had one packet a day for four days and I did accidentally skip one day, but it seems to be working well for me. I've tried SO many different things to help with my milk production and the only other thing that's worked are the lactation cookies, BUT it takes me about 3 hours to make them, thanks to my little toddler helper, and I have to eat about three a day so I go through them pretty quickly. This drink is definitely more convenient, but it is a little expensive for me to be taking two packets a day.. So I will be sticking with one a day unless I notice a change. The drink tastes amazing, just like chocolate milk, and I actually look forward to drinking it. My only worry is that I've noticed my daughter has had more gas recently, and some people have said its due to the Fenugreek, but I'm honestly not sure yet. For reference, last weekend when I pumped at work I only got 3 oz for the whole day. This weekend, I had almost 9 oz for the whole day. . so definitely an improvement, and I hadn't changed anything but adding the drink mix to my daily routine. Good luck! Definitely worth giving it a try!

Helps get the milk flowing.
Update: after drinking this 4 days in a row I have to hold off for 4 days now. My milk production has been holding strong so if it drops again drink some more. I really like this product. I'm breastfeeding my 3rd child and once he turned about 3 months my milk went way down! I intend on feeding the full year like I did with my 2 older kids. So I bought the lactation cookies from walmart taste good and worked well but for 10 packs it cost almost $20. So I found this and it's 15 packs for about $15 figured I try it. I was a little worried it would taste weird. It taste great and has helped my milk production. I usually drink it midday or after dinner and the next day my milk is back to full, instead of feeling empty most of the day. I drink one pack with milk every day or if I'm really full one day I hold off and do every other day. The only thing and it's not even a big deal, I have to stir it A LOT to get it to mix well, some powder chunks sit on top the milk.. no biggy.. I will eventually mix it with yogurt or ice cream to make a smoothie, but for now with milk is great.

FANTASTIC for increasing your milk
I have to say WOW, this stuff really works. Everyone told me to try something with fenugreek to increase my milk supply for my one month old baby. He is nursing great and gets full, but I wanted to increase a bit to pump more. Iโm terrible about remembering to take pills which is why I thought to try this powder form. I ordered chocolate and it tastes pretty decent. The first time I tried it, I had a bit of a strange aftertaste in my mouth for a couple minutes. With that time, I tried it with an unsweetened Almond Milk (and the directions say use 6 oz of milk). However, the next times Iโve had it, I used the recommended 6 oz of milk and I havenโt had any strange aftertaste. I think the first time was just me adjusting to something new (Iโll be honest, Iโm a picky eater). Knowing Iโm picky, me saying the subsequent times has tasted pretty good - that means a lot! No aftertastes or anything and actually pretty good taste. FYI, I found it easier to blend it in a blender container with a shaker ball. The most important part is my supply has definitely increased. Iโm so glad I found UpSpringโs Milkflow in a powder form. If you are having a problem with your supply, or need a little extra boost to for pumping or babyโs feedings, you definitely need to try this.

Slight increase, delicious, pricey, doesn't dissolve well (but I don't mind)
Like everyone else said, it doesn't dissolve well in cold milk. But hey, it's summer in Florida; I'd rather have grainy and cold than drink hot milk. Even with it not dissolving well, it still tastes delicious! The biggest downside is the price: the drink mix costs $15 for 18 days' worth (packets), while the pills of the same mix by the same company cost $15 for 50 days' worth. But if you hate pills, then the drink mix is a tasty way to get your fenugreek! From my research, people have different experiences with fenugreek: most see an increase in milk production, some see no change, some even see a decrease! I was very hesitant to do anything that was an "herbal remedy." But I was drinking tons of water and pumping 4x/day when my LO was at daycare (2 of those were power-hour pump sessions) with no increase. I've been doing the drink mix 1x/day for the last week and have seen a slight increase. I read that if you don't start smelling a bit like maple syrup, you're not taking enough fenugreek to make a difference. I definitely did NOT smell like syrup from the drink mix 1x/day. So as of today, I also started taking the pills from the same company. I'll update in another week or so to say if I see the big increase others have said. (I was going to just do the drink mix 2x/day, but that would get expensive quickly!) Update: After adding the pills 2x/day for a week (plus using this 1x/day), I've seen a real increase! I'm up about 5 ounces per day (still 4 pumps per day with nursing in evenings/nights).
