it said the are 100% leather however the reviews say fax leather. Are they 100% leather like it is stated?

Style 847 is 100% leather upper! And seems like quality leather. I don’t know about other styles from this brand but style 847 in yellow brown and dark brown (I purchased both colors) are definitely 100% leather and well made!

Are they to hot for Florida?

I use it in SoCal / OC for riding my motorcycle and it is totally fine, but keep in mind where I am located, the temp does not go above low 80s and it is dry here. Overall it is not to bad for the money.

How are these for wide feet?

Go the next size up. I typically wear a wide 11.5 and if that size isn't available I buy a size 12. It hasn't failed yet PLUS you can always return them.

How high up on the ankle does the boot run, what is the height of the boot?

The boot just covers your ankle bone
