purchased this a few years ago and forgot to leave a review. it works great, has lots of features and timers- cold mist, hot mist, adjust the strength, speed, direction, and how long it should run. a spot to add essential oils. as an event planner we like to engage our attendees with site, sound, and smell. We use this at our 'welcome' check-in/name tag table to infuse our events with a scent. This large size is very helpful, as most event spaces are enormous, far larger then the largest room in most homes. While you can't smell it from 200 feet away, our guests can smell it when they are greeted and enter the event. (again because we use essential oil). and it holds alot of water so we can use it for several hours with out needing to refill it. It's also sleek/tall/slender so doesn't take up much space, we usually set it on the floor behind the table.also nice that the top piece comes off, so for storage & transportation, so it's about half as tall when disassembled.

Pros:•I love the look. Very modern and esthetically pleasing to put in any room•Having a remote and a timer option is SOOO nice. I love being able to turn it on from my bed and having a timer option so it's not on throughout the entire night.Cons•There are 3 pieces: the base, water canister, and extender. The pieces don't snap or click together so if you set it on the floor like I do, and you accidently tap it with your foot or the vacuum, it falls apart and water goes everywhere (cuz it just pools at the base of the machine.)•The canister I feel like I have to constantly refill. I only use it at night. On the lowest mist setting, and set the time for 4 hours (lowest timer setting) and I have to refill it in 2 days.•Also, there is no warm mist. I gave it the benefit of the doubt reading other reviews that some had a warmer mist on the warm setting and others saw no change. I had no change. The mist on the cool or warm setting felt the same.Overall, I'd give it 3.5 stars. I'm still debating whether or not to keep it... if the pieces were more secured to prevent spilling I probably would. If you plan on using it somewhere where knocking it over is preventable like on a desk or something, it wouldn't be too bad. I can get over not having warm mist for the other pros of this humidifier, but it's the flaw in the design that's really bugging me.

I like how very quiet this is.I like that it can sit on the floor, and takes up very little space.It puts out a great quantity of mist, even on low setting.I hate that it is so difficult to move. The chimney and the tank stack on top of the motor base. They do not attach to it in any way. Picking up the unit caused the chimney and tank to fly everywhere! Must be disassembled before attempting to move it.It did not release warm mist on a full tank of water although the warm feature was on and running for an hour. The warming element was working; after I knocked the unit over and was reassembling it, I could feel the base was a little warm .After the water level got lower, then it began to produce warm mist. I think the problem is the warmer is not powerful enough.

Sleek and stylish. Doesn't take up alot of space. Works well

I purchased this humidifier because of the brand (I was very happy with my previous homedics humidifier) and because of its looks, but can’t say that I am super-pleased: the water tank is kinda small, so you’d have to refill the container every other day, the three parts of the humidifier (the base, the water tank and the upper nuzzle) stack like a pyramid on one another, but don’t lock into each other, so you won’t be able to move or carry the whole humidifier around, unless you take these parts apart and carry them separately. Also, the “warm” mist doesn’t feel warm at all. But, I like the remote control option, the looks and the noise level (I bought it for my bedroom and it doesn’t seem to bother me while I sleep), so I decided to keep it after debating whether I should.

I’m a plant mom and I’m also a California girl living in Georgia so my allergies are effected by the climate indoors and out. The humidifier makes it so much more easier to breathe and my plants are loving the heat it provides. I saw a review after purchasing that the humidifier wasn’t heating up for the customer but mine does. It’s really quiet. I’ve used to the scent tray that works very well. Easy to clean. I did wish that the spout was heavier or had a notch to secure it to the base but other than that I’m loving it.

I bought this humidifier for my plants, because the shape is great with the extension and the base does not take up to much space on the table or on the floor. And this is the extent of its good and useful features.Now for the negative.1. There's no warm mist. None. I bought two items, so it's not like one is defective. Just like the other reviewers note, the warm mist is a lie. And if this gadget is not a dual temperature than it's grossly overpriced. Cool mist humidifiers go for 16 to 30 dollars, not 70!2. The description implied that the nozzle turns 360° on its own, not that you can turn it. Well, it doesn't. It stays in one place unless you turn it with you hand.3. I absolutely hate how the sellers claim their gadget works for 12-20 hours uninterrupted. Don't they realize the strength of the output affects the time? Not just that. On the lowest setting, filled to the rim, it worked about 8 hrs. On the middle setting (#2) it emptied itself after 4 hrs.Conclusion : false advertising!!!However, i am not returning it (them, i bought 2), because the size and shape fits my needs. But i am mad as hell for having been lied to!!!

I love the design and it seems to produce mist but this soft rubber piece in the extension nozzle came out and I cannot put it back in... Also, I can see the that it may challenging to clean the extension nozzle... i may end up exchanging it b/c of that rubber piece...
