It is what it's supposed to be and i'm happy with it. My only issue is that when you remove the lid, which I often do when I need spoonfuls, the salt all gets stuck in the grooves, so it makes a mess when removed.

These things are so useful to me. I actually use mine to keep yeast in to feed my springtails for my terrariums. It has a little plastic cap that just kind of sits over top of it and it keeps everything dry in there. I’ve still got another one to use for something else. I can imagine using this for Parmesan cheese, or you could just use them for salt and pepper. But I’m just giving you other options. I love mine and I keep it right by my terrariums to feed my little guys every day

I bought these for shaking flour. They work like a charm, and the plastic lid is a great plus. Easy to use, and I'm sure they will be durable.

The shakers arrived in good time and are a perfect size. I am using one for salt when cooking and one for powdered sugar, i an pleased with the quality.
