This is my favorite reel I own. This thing is buttery smooth. the bail wire is pretty heavy duty. and nothing has stopped it so far. I have dropped this in the muddy rivers of Arizona and all it takes is a good clean and some CLP and its back better than new. Maybe oil it up a bit when you get it, but other than that it is ready to go. Graphite boy and CNC machined aluminum spool. When you're on this thing sings. I love not only the functionality and ruggedness of this reel, but also the sound. When you have a fish on this reel sings. Performance of the reel is exceptional, especially at the price point. Buy more than one. You will thank me later. Especially since they seem to come in and put of supply. Not just one of the best values on a reel I have seen, but also the quality just in general is pretty amazing. This reel keeps up and even outruns the big names. Buy one... or two.

I really like it it's smooth and easy casting Put it on a 7' 6" rod that works great together.

Bought the smallest one, thought it was such a great value for the money I bought two more. Smooth, fast, easy casting, easy retrieve. Very nice and very affordable. No worries anymore about dropping or breaking expensive equipment. Works great, hope it lasts a long time, if not, no big deal!!

My real just showed up today and I ordered a 5000 series reel. I will say it's a nice reel I am impressed with the quality for the price. BUTT I ordered the 5000 size because I wanted to use it for light saltwater this reel is no bigger than an old school Garcia Mitchell 300. I'm not going to send it back because it is a nice reel for the money and let's face it it never hurts to have a spare reel sitting in the closet. I have an old Shakespeare open face about the same size it's hitting its maximum service life. Unfortunately modern-day fishing reels aren't like the old school Mitchell 300 where they lasted three generations of heavy use

It was a great price and it honestly just works good, no complaints, you have to close the bail with you hand , you can close it with out your hand but it's just not easy and probably not good for it's longevity, overall totally great buy, like the handle flips when storing, helps with me putting it in my backpack for bike rides

Plastic internals that gave away. Broke apart during a catch. Cheap for a reason. Do not buy.

This reel has very nice modern look with convenient folding knob ( big plus for transporting), only thing I don’t like is the wood knob- personal preference. Drag is smooth but not the most dial-in feel as other much more expensive ones. Line capacity of 7000 series is great- about 200 yard of 35lb braided line even thought the size of reel is smaller than my other 6000 reel. If you like a light weight, well made, and great value reel look no further.
