Concept is great. Disability not so much
I'd like to update my previous review of this product. I originally rated it two stars but am upgrading that to 1 star - I'd give a 0 stars if I could. This product is junk. It was a waste of my hard earned cash and is now sitting in a landfill somewhere - I bought it in March and trashed it less than two months later because it was falling apart. I was picking pieces of it up all over the house. Contacted the vendor and got a curt answer back about how I must have active cats. They aren't any more active than any other cat I've ever had and even if they are - so what. PRECIOUS REVIEW The concept of this product is very good. But the durability isn't that great. I've got two cats who are declawed. They like the scratcher but edges are already falling apart after two weeks. If this was the only thing they did all day I could understand. But believe me when I say this scratcher doesn't interrupt their sleep.

Packing more fun than toy
We have 5 cats & only 1 will consider playing with it occasionally & I think he has ADHD. They all looked at the toy for 5 minutes, then started playing with the box & packing paper it came in! They've been playing with that stuff for a week now, I just can't bring myself to take it away from them. They are like kids with a Slip 'n Slide!

Not a good purchase
The cats love it, but this scratcher makes such a mess it's not worth it. The little particles of cardboard are ALL OVER my house! I expect this type of scratcher to cause some particles to break away, but this one is ridiculously messy. I have to vacuum up the particles, throughout the house, everyday and could do it twice a day. Three stars for the 3 cats loving it.

Doesnt stay together
This is held together by the two little blue tubes that just slide into the holes. The tubes stick out and my kittens easily removed them and chewed them apart. The ball is attached by one of the tubes that hold it together so it is pulled out quickly and destroyed easily. The paper on the sides isn't glued on well either and comes off.

DEFINITELY WORT BUYING
I need to order another one...This is a terrific buy. Since ordering it we have acquired a new rescue...at time of his rescue Sam was 6 months old. He thought we ordered the scratching post for him. He is a bit over 1 year now and has taken to shreddiing the "post"...So obviously we need a new on...

I would not give this item a star because it broke in two days. The item was poorly made ,sorry but I waisted my money!!!!!!!! On that note I even had to give a star because I couldn't sent the review

My cat loved every part of it.
My little princess love this scratching pad. After she destroyed the scratching parts of the pad, took out the stick with the wire thing and it has been my cat's favorite toy.

My two kittens loved this product so much
My two kittens loved this product so much,that one of them torn off the blue swatting ball with its teeth and swallowed it. Kitten was deathly sick, thank goodness was able to get it up and out on its own, and is okay. If the the ball wasn't such a choking/intestinal blockage danger, I would of given the product a five star.
