I've delayed writing this for a couple of weeks in order to give a fairer review. Firstly the negative points......I bought a king size & it needs to be an inch bigger all round as it's slightly smaller than the mattress. There is nothing to keep it on the bed, it just sits on top of the bed & is kept there with the fitted sheet......I could see this being a problem if you prefer flat sheets. A few people mentioned feather sticking out & scratching them......well yes this is a minor problem but not one I have found a huge issue thus far due to the fact I have put a mattress protector over the top of it to help hold it in place & this has also acted as a further barrier between me & the feathers. When I change the beds each week I also pull out the odd feathers that are sticking out. My 3 year old & I have turned this into a fun activity!On the positive side......it is incredibly comfortable & you sink into the feathers. You only need give it a light pummelling in the morning to fluff them back up & I give it a good shake & rotate it once a week. I look forward to the cold nights & snuggling up with my duck feather topper, quilt & pillows.....oh, and my husband of course!

Whilst I was initially delighted with the comfort, thickness and the size for the double beds, after a weeks use, last night I woke up every hour to pull the stabby feathers out. Even with a mattress protector over it, the amount of feathers poking through which I pulled out were unacceptable. I bought two of these, but wish I had just bought one to try it out, I can't leave the one in the guest room bed on now, so I am very disappointed. The postage is too expensive to return them.

Adding this topper to my knackered old mattress was an improvement, but after a couple of nights the feathers started to poke up through the material and it felt like you were sleeping with breadcrumbs - a very uncomfortable feeling. I will now need to find a topper protector, just to give me a bit of padding between me and the sharp feather ends . Was happy initially, but now a bit disappointed .

I bought this topper after reading the reviews for it but after a night of feathers jabbing me in the back and the elastic straps popping off the mattress I looked at the label and realised the topper was a different brand to the one advertised. Besides the poor quality it was not machine washable. Seller said they use various brand, rendering feedback useless for making a decision to puchase, more of a lucky dip! Seller not interested and topper ended up at the tip.

I purchased this mattress topper for my husband following a major stroke recentlyHe has a hospital bed at home but does not like the feel of the pressure relieving mattressIt is very comfortable for him and he is overall happy with itHowever it does say on the description that as it has a 180 weave cotton finish that the feathers willnot come through but they doNot many but a few at a time so therefore I have also had to buy a mattress protector to go over itas they can be quite sharp

I am delighted with this mattress topper. I have arthritis in my hips and shoulders and the softness ofthis topper is really helping me to sleep - I would recommend it to ayone with joint problems - thank you
