Great after shoulder surgery
I bought some shirts that snap all the way up and down the shirt, but the Velcro on this shirt creates greater ease after shoulder surgery. Just undo the Velcro for the side that had surgery, put the shirt onto the good arm first, then use the strap to aid in Velcro-ing up the side that had surgery. I’ve worn both this Velcro shirt, as well as other shirts that have snaps, and my physical therapist actually commented how much easier the Velcro is to undo when it comes time to provide therapeutic massage, and especially how easy it is to Velcro back up afterward. I also prefer the length of the sleeves on this shirt to some of the unusually long t-shirt sleeves on the snap shirts. Not needing the sides to open also makes me appreciate this shirt more since having snaps all down the sides of the other shirts can feel rather uncomfortable; but this shirt is just like a normal roomy t-shirt with the advantage of having Velcro only to open the tops of the sleeves where it’s most necessary to help post-shoulder surgery.

Velcro/snaps all the way down or not
The shirt was a good Quality. And worked well for post medical visits. But if they send you home from the hospital in a sling I would suggest the shirt that has velcro/ snaps all the way down the sides. This one you have to put over the head and down the torso then Velcro it up. Difficult to use the first weeks.

Made life after shoulder surgery so much easier.
This shirt is great but not just for the velcro tear-away openings: The wide neck and arms made it simple for me to don-doff without help & without hurting the shoulder. It's a substantial ply but not hot. The shape is kind of cool-looking, too. I wish all shoulder patients would buy these so they'd stop whining so much... kidding. It was worth it to me.

Nice but they run very SMALL.
Great design on this, but it was too small. I even ordered a size up to make some extra room for the sling, but the problem was I could not get my arms through it. ( I do have pretty big arms) Shirt was very well made and good quality. Probably too thick for the Florida climate, but they didn't use cheap material to make them. I dont think you would be disappointed if you ordered at least 2 sizes bigger.

Great shirt
Bought these for post-op trip home and in anticipation of wearing a sling for six to eight weeks. Luckily I had an easier process and only needed the shirts for a few days but I was glad I had them . Made life easier.

Purchase was a horrible mistake.
When the Velcro was fastened the halves of the sleeves did not match. So each sleeve has one side of the sleeve hanging 3 inches longer than it should be.I bought one size larger than I normally wear and the sleeves must be cut from an XS pattern. So tight I can’t wear it closed on my right arm. Every seam has strings coming out. The ties to pull up the shirt were frayed all the way to the shoulder and had to be cut off. The Velcro is so bulky that I look like I’m sprouting wings. If I wasn’t in the hospital and running short on clothes I’d wad this up in a ball, stuff it back in the bag and return it. It’s a total waste of money. I bought several from different sellers that look great. Don’t settle for this brand.

Does what I need
A little long and unflattering but it is good quality. The doctor was impressed and hasn’t seen anything like it before

Amazing quality
The quality is amazing, they are nice and sick not very thin. The only issue that I would say is that the velcro is far too strong trying to do it up and undo it well you can't use one arm is very very difficult. Besides that perfect.
