Dr. Seuss - Green Eggs and Ham [VHS]

We were surprised to see that these are not LIVE animation but none the less our toddler screams for all these dvd's. We adults now LOVE the way they used the pictures from the book to "animate" these 3 stories. And best of all she begs us to read her these books. Before she would never want us to read more then a handful of words but NOW she hangs on the words. And since on the DVD they have 3 shorts she is thrilled.most of her new words from 18 months on are based on words she learned here. The teeth story is sweet as is Ten apples up on top.

I love Dr. Seuss but I simply forgot how old "green eggs and ham" really is!Overall, I think my 3 y/o enjoyed it, but at times I could see where he'd drift-off some and I'm assuming it was because of the graphics; which just didn't capture and retain his attention.I first saw this when I was 9 or 10 and back then, the message and graphics were marginal but, that was all we had in terms of technology. I guess all I'm saying is that the time for a redo is now!I would still recommend this movie!

Purchased this VHS tape for my classroom. The story is in rhyming format and the tape, overall is short. My school didn't have a DVD player at the time so the VHS tape was great...I was happy to find it in this format. Amazon sent this to me in a timely manner and it was nicely wrapped. The price was affordable.

I have looked everywhere for this in dvd. Glad I found it and at a great price. Came quickly and in good shape.

I never received horton hears a who and it was never sent but acct was credited. I really wanted the dvd.

This was my daughter's favorite when she was little, was happy to find it to put with her other keepsakes. Very fast shipping.

I bought this thinking it was the fully animated cartoon I remember seeing when I was a kid in the 70's. It is NOT the same thing. This is like some really cheesy partially animated reading of the book. Very disappointed in this title.
