Very Happy, Great Table.
Delivery was a little frustrating. Was supposed to be delivered on Thursday and after waiting all day we got a late message that it would now be delivered on Saturday. We had to be somewhere on Saturday, ugh. After waiting all day on Saturday, it finally showed up after 6pm so we had to cancel our plans for that day. Putting that aside, the delivery was fine, he pushed it into our garage where we wanted it. Box was in great condition, we opened it up and everything was perfect. Table is very heavy so you need more than one person to set it up. This table will be kept against the wall in the garage and be played when we pull the car out. Leveling it was very easy and we marked the floor to put it back in the same spot each time. Table is beautiful and plays very well. Cues are very standard but they were fine and played fine. We chose the 7ft. Red. The box was very heavy, large and thick and it was a bear to cut up and dispose of. Took advantage of Amazon Prime Days. Price was very good. Very happy with this purchase.

7' table is great for folks used to bar tables, plays like a "real" table
Decided to wait a couple months to review this table, and the bottom line is I am very satisfied and have spent many happy hours playing pool with family and friends, or just practicing. I used to be a pretty good barroom player (not a shark by any means, but good enough to pay for my beer many nights -- other nights, I'd be buying someone else's beer), and this is a good approximation of your average bar table. Sure, it's not a slate table, but it's surprisingly level and sturdy for an MDF table that's a fraction of the cost and hassle. Delivery: I see lots of people complaining about damage during delivery, but my delivery experience was awesome. I paid the $20 to have it delivered to my basement, and everything went off without a hitch. When I opened the box, I didn't observe any damage. There's a hairline crack in the plastic of one pocket, but I didn't even notice until a couple days later. Accessories: Yes, you're going to want to replace the cues as soon as possible, and the brush is the type meant for cleaning under the rails, not the whole table. However, the balls are just fine, and I've had no problems with cracking or chipping. The rack is a standard plastic rack; any pool player will be familiar with it. I saw someone complain about the quality of the chalk. Really? The chalk? It's chalk. It's fine. Buy a set of four house cues that go from 18 to 21 ounces, they're easy to find right here on Amazon. Also get a real brush to maintain the felt. I should also note that the table doesn't come with head or foot spots -- these are cheap, you just have to do a bit of measuring to set them up right. Sturdiness and leveling: At 170lbs, the table feels really solid and sturdy. Give it a shove to test, and it'll give the slightest little bit -- not enough to move the balls. As for it being level? I'm amazed. The wife and I got the big level, all set to adjust the feet and... the darn thing was level no matter where we measured. We got a smaller level, and started placing it all over the table. Level everywhere out of the box. I consider this a tribute to not only the table, but to my basement floor. Checked a couple times since, still all level. One note: it's in a room with a dehumidifier that runs automatically 24/7. I'm hoping that helps keep the surface from eventually warping. Playability: This is what really counts, right? Like I said in the tag for this review, to me, it plays just like an average bar table. The felt was a tad slow at first, but regular play and brushing fixed that. The rails bounce like they should, and the balls comes off them as you'd expect. My favorite "show off" shots are balls frozen against the rails -- I LOVE walking a ball all the long way down a rail to a corner pocket (tip: actual bar tables often have a groove worn under the rail that makes this easier), or banking a ball frozen on the far rail back to a near corner. Both shots can consistently be made on this table. Shots to the side pockets require a more gentle touch, just like on a "real" table. However, since this table can't be refelted, I don't want burn marks all over it, let alone a dreaded tear -- therefore I don't allow jump or masse' shots, which might bug some players. Bottom line: This was intended as a starter table to see how often the wife and I would use it, and we've been enjoying the heck out of it. My daughter plays in an APA league, and she's had fun with it when she visits, too. It honestly exceeded my expectations, and I'm very happy we chose this table. The wife is already talking about upgrading to a slate table some day, but in the meantime, we get to play all the pool we want on a very nice table.

An Excellent Purchase
This is an excellent purchase. I realize some might question a portable pool table, but the length and stability of this table make it almost like playing on a regular pool table. The fact that it is portable only lends to its attractiveness. The table weighs about 150 pounds. You will want to check the specs for this, but if I recall it was around 150 pounds. That’s not including the box, that is just the table. So if you want to slide it over a few inches more or tuck it away completely you have that option. The portability was extremely important to me. Slight comment on delivery, the delivery person went above and beyond. So kudos to the delivery company. I know that’s not the most important aspect but rather it is the product itself but I do think that that is important to some of you that are looking at this review. I selected the 7 foot long black pool table. I’m very happy with the purchase. I highly recommend this brand of portable pool table. The color pool table you select or the size 6 foot or 7 foot depend on your preference. I will say that the 7 foot long table seems a perfect length to me. This pool table is very sturdy as I mentioned, I did not have to add any extra bracing yet. Perhaps some may choose to do that, but so far I had not felt I needed to. It comes with the balls, sticks and everything you need to play. It’s a fast set up , right out of the box, you just unfold the legs and it’s ready to go. Extremely easy assembly. So far, I’m very pleased with this purchase. Will update down the road possibly. I’m giving at five stars out of five. I think that anyone who’s looking for an affordable portable pool table will really enjoy this table.

Great Pool Table for Fun!
First and foremost, if you are considering this table you need to understand that this table is just like your neighborhood bar table, it is meant to provide fun and it is not going to be perfect like a professional table. Secondly, if you are considering getting this then you really need to get the 7ft table rather than the 6ft. Overall, I am extremely happy with this table. I merely wanted something that I could put on my patio with the weather getting nicer now. I had it delivered today and had it set up within minutes. I have played about 5 games so far on it and have enjoyed every minute with it (took a bit of tweaking since I have mine on a concrete patio that isn't leveled so I had to mess with that for a few): Pros: - At a $500 price point for a 7ft table, I considered that a decent deal. The product seems sturdy enough and I love the concept of being able to fold it up and store it. It was one of the main reasons I bought it, if I ever move, I can easily fold it up and place it on a moving truck. - While they are not great (I will get to that in my Cons section), you get everything you need to start playing right off the bat. Balls, sticks, chalk and brush. - Very sturdy with the additional "lock" mechanisms on the legs. Im about 200lbs and have no issues leaning on the table or a concern that it will collapse. - I found the rails to be very lively and not a dud like some cheaper tables give you. - More of a biased opinion but I got mine in the blue color and it looks absolutely amazing. Cons: - The sticks are an absolute joke and you should just throw them out upon receiving. They feel hollow and the "tips" are non-existent. I drove up to walmart and bought a couple better ones just so I could have a good feel for the table. - Mine had a bit of cosmetic damage on the side area near the logo. The felt was fine so it didnt bother me and I had some black acrylic paint so I just painted the imperfections. Nothing bad. - Check the pockets. During my first game, one of my corner pockets had 4 balls in it and then I heard a loud bang because one of the balls fell through. I looked and the gap in the netting was oversized. I had a zip-tie laying around so I just fixed that super quick and the issue has not happened again. MY BIGGEST COMPLAINT AND SOMETHING TO CONSIDER! - The shipping is AWFUL. I scheduled a 6am-9am drop off and they showed up around 930am. Not terrible but kind of annoying that there is no update if they are running late or anything like that. Either or, not a huge issue but the following really bothered me. It was delivered by 2 friendly drivers in a box truck. They opened up the back and my pool table was laying in the back covered in trash, broken down other boxes as well as a bunch of pallets underneath and on top of the table. I immediately assumed the table was broken. The drivers were nice enough to wait around while I inspected the box and opened it up. After observing no damage, they left. With that said, I really hope Amazon would find a way to send this in one of their vehicles where it can be strapped to something rather than thrown into something like a moving fan with little to no care. If you order this, make sure you inspect the box and table if it looks like it has been damaged before the drivers leave. All in all, I absolutely LOVE this table. Just buy some new pool sticks for it and pray that your table isn't damaged during shipping. If you can get through those 2 items, you will love playing on this table and your friends will too. Overall: 4.5/5 stars

Best Value for a Pool Table
I've been looking to buy a pool table for years and I've had my eye on the Fat Cat and Go Sport portable tables. But they only offered a 6 foot table at the time. The value was really good for both but I decided to wait because I thought a 6 foot table was too small. I wanted a size I usually play on at the bars. So that's why I never bought it. I noticed a couple a months ago that Go sport offers a 7 foot portable table and read all the reviews and was like, this is the one. Couple of reasons, easiest setup possible. Not too heavy but heavy enough to be sturdy, movement of balls on the table and bank shots and value and money. They all met my expectations and beyond. 549 for a table that plays better than my local pub tables. This will help me get better in no time. I haven't used the sticks they gave me since I bought a nice one on Amazon, so I'm not sure if they suck like the reviews say but look nice. The pool balls feel a little lighter. Haven't weighed them but the cue ball seems a little lighter than usual. I could be wrong. But the pool table is amazing. Buy now and thank me later! :) The only thing I would complain about was the movers. I wasn't there but my wife was. They came during the allotted time of 12:00 PM to 3:00 P.M. I never received a text to let me know what time they were coming. They just showed up. And they were very rude to my wife. Said they weren't going to take it the room and just leave it in the garage. I paid the extra 20 dollars for them to move it a specific room. They moved it to my bonus room after giving her a hard time about it. My wife said thank you. They ignored her and just walked out. Other than that, the pool table is great and I would buy it again. Might even buy one for my dad for his birthday! :)

Solid 7’ portable pool table - excellent quality
TL;DR - a high quality 7’ pool table that is as solid as it is heavy nicely executed in a movable package. Upon receipt of the package the first thing you will notice is the size and weight of this product. It definitely requires at least two people to move the box. I found it pretty easy to unpack by leaving the box against a wall, cutting the tape along the bottom edge on three sides and then lower the box to the ground. The top easily opens and presents the bottom of the table along with the two ques and boxes with the other accessories. Lifting the table in its side and then extending followed by lifting and placing it on the feet. Pretty simple. Talking about the feet, these are adjustable to help level the table by unscrewing them as needed. I used a two foot level I had and measured length and width wise at three spot in each direction. Very convenient. The quality of the build, materials and packaging are top quality in this price segment. The accessories included the set of balls in a nice storage box, triangle, brush, two ques and two black chalk. All isn’t perfect with this set though. The black chalk gets all over your hands at first and hopefully over time this is much less of an issue. Also, both ques are warped fairly significantly and one is even misshaped (see closeup picture). I will be contacting the vendor for a resolution. The ques are also light compared to others I have used so I might just need to invest in a pair and keep the supplied ones as backup. One suggestion for the manufacturer would be to add a hook to hang the triangle at one end of the table. I’ll probably look to find something in the local hardware store to solve this need. I expect this table to stand up to regular use and have purchased a cover to protect it when not in use.

Decent table with some caveats
I've had the 6' Gosports table for 3 weeks now. I am writing this review as a novice pool player who bought this table with the hopes of improving my game. The table is easily leveled and pretty sturdy but it does wobble if you bump it which is to be expected on a 125 lb portable table. I would not put any body weight on this table which means you might want to get a $5 slip on bridge for hard to reach shots which surprisingly do still happen on a 6' table. The felt and rails seem decent. The felt is suitably fast and the rails have suitable bounce. The balls that come with the table are full sized (2.25") and are decent quality. I feel no need to upgrade them at this point. The cue sticks are low quality and should be replaced. I bought Viper 57" ($30) and 48" ($18) cues on Amazon which seem quite good for the money. I needed a short stick because my room is a bit tight. The plastic rack is garbage. Spend $10 on the magic rack set - its worth it. I would also recommend getting a break pad so that you dont burn the felt after repeated breaks from the same spot. This table is appropriately sized for 9 and 10 ball - which I am unable to play yet because they require intermediate level skills. Unfortunately this table is too small for playing 8 ball with full sized balls. Why? Because no matter how hard I break, the balls clump up into multiple close groups making pattern play nearly impossible. Even finding a first shot can be a challenge. There are 2 ways around this problem. One would be to spend $40 on a smaller 2" set of balls. But that's problematic because the pockets would then be too large. I have opted instead to rack 11 balls (5 solids and 5 stripes plus the 8) using the magic rack 9 ball template. This gives me a break with an appropriate amount of space between the balls allowing for decent pattern play. Overall I'm pretty happy with the Gosports Table. I'm having fun playing and I do think my skill is improving which is all I can ask for considering the size and price.

Pretty good for the price
So off top I like my table a lot. I just got it moved in and that was a struggle. I got the 8ft and the thing is heavy as hell. I would recommend to have at least 2 people(yourself and another) who can left heavy weight. The table itself is relatively good for the price, sturdy and bumpers do what they’re supposed to do. I’d recommend to get some pool ques from somewhere else. They are good for the time being, but you can tell that they’re curved. Not too noticeable until you really look at them or start to play with them. Same with the chalk. Not the best but again they will work for the time being until you get your own. Packaging was in shambles so bad that I decided to do the rest of the move without it. But overall I enjoy it. Not going to hold no professional pool contests but I’m sure it will still be a great addition to your home

Sturdier than expected.
My biggest concern with any foldable table was how sturdy it would be. I would thought I would likely have to reinforce it so it wouldn’t wobble when you lean on it for a shot. Not the case at all. I’m roughly 240lbs. When I lean in for a shot, the table doesn’t move at all from what I can tell so far. I think the dimensions are slightly smaller than a bar table at 34” X 74” from cushion to cushion, but not sure. Overall I’m pleasantly surprised. Balls seem good. Cues are not the most straight I’ve ever seen but they are better than most bar cues for being true. There are no head string or foot string lines on the table or markings of any kind including where exactly the balls should be racked, but not a big deal. Not sure how long it will last, but right now happy with the purchase and definitely do not regret buying it. I never noticed any reviews with pictures of the underside of the table. If there had been, that would have likely made me not buy it honestly. It does not look like it should be as stable as it is. Appearances are definitely deceiving. By the look of the structure you would think the table would move a lot, but it simply doesn’t. Well done.

Compact Pool table for basement
Great table and compact. Easy to assemble. It comes in one piece. Only downside... Too heavy to carry. Needs two people to take it to the basement:)
