Challenging but Worth it!
This wasn’t easy for me to put together but with the help of several YouTube videos and several back-ups and re-dos I finally finished it. Probably about 2 hours start to finish. If this 66 year old retiree can do this puzzle lamp shade, anyone can. I was proud of myself when it was completed and totally dazzled by its beauty. It really does look like a work of art! I just ordered pendant hardware to hang it. Must use a cool to touch bulb! The material is like a plastic milk jug and would probably melt w too much heat. LED bulb should work fine.

So confusing
Thank God for youtube because without it i would have never figured out how to assemble these things. Once i got the hang of it though ot was fairly easy. I wanted to update some batter powered pendant light and these worked perfectly However i did have to drill a hole for the light attachment which wasn't a huge deal. They look great anf my husband even liked them so that's always a plus. Just be prepared that they are a pita to assemble.

Once you watch the videos online it’s easy to assemble👍⭐️
FIRST: 🚨ONLY USE LED💡BULBS! In my opinion, using old light bulbs is a serious FIRE🔥HAZARD! SECOND: As the other reviews have noted, go to YouTube for how to build the lampshades. Once I watched a video, the instructions made sense. You have FRONT & BACK and must pay attention to the connection hooks (See Pictures). The idea is to build 🆙! So start with ROW 1, connect the hooks, then add ROW 2 and go 🆙and around. I used labels to identify each row because the videos use different color pieces. I recently purchased the DIY Lotus Lampshade and liked how it looked. I had leftover Hanging Pendant Light Socket with Cord - 4 Pack and 4 pack LED, Dimmable, Color Changing Bulbs from that project. I received an email with this DIY Lampshade as a suggestion and decided to try it. I did purchase another set of Swag Hooks to be able to hang the Pendant Light Sockets with the new DIY lamp shade. If you notice in the one picture the cord sits perfectly with the finished lamp shade, you just have to twist it until it fits in. I did my best trying to explain how to put the lampshade together. I HOPE THE PICTURES HELP. 🚨Again, ONLY USE WITH LED BULBS🚨 In my opinion, the PRICE is decent for this product. It’s well made and exactly as advertised.

Very hard to put together
You have to be a puzzle master to put this together and it’s made of literal paper I could have cut myself. Don’t waste your time or money.

bad instructions, good product once you see someone put it together
the written instructions are terrible and lead to extreme frustration with this product. but if you go to youtube and watch someone demonstrating it, it's easy to understand the pattern and the pieces lock together well. changed 1-star review to 3-star because once they're put together, they do look great and are a good value. just don't ragequit because of the instructions and soon you can make any of the shapes.

Great if you like puzzles
The printed instructions were poorly written. Thanks to YouTube I was able to avoid a minefield of anxiety and frustration and actually had a fun time putting this together. Suggestion: Add a couple pieces with a hole cut in the center so that the finished product can be hung on a wire.

Too delicate.
So difficult to put together and so easily falls apart. I gave up.
