PowerBait Catfish Bait Chunks Fishing Dough Bait

Tip: Keep the ziploc bag sealed while fishing to keep the bait moist and soft. This bait worked well for targeting catfish, even with lots of other fish species around. I caught multiple channel catfish and bullhead in a couple fishing trips testing this bait. It’s soft so you do have to be careful not to throw it right off the hook when you cast. A spring treble hook would probably work best for this bait, though I did just fine with a single hook. However, turtles just love the stuff too and if there are lots of turtles around most of your bites will be from them. This isn’t a flaw of the bait; it’s just nature. I’ve had the same problem using chicken liver bait. Overall this bait worked exactly as expected. Recommended.

Falls off hook easy. But it catches catfish very easy. But it is basically a powder in water. It makes for amazing bites the first 10 minutes but its fully dissolved by then

Theses work great and if you use cheese cloth they stay on the hook great

I've bought these multiple times and they catch catfish (5 stars). However, on the packaging consistently fails on the first day. Opening the ziplock more than a couple times causes it to separate from the bag (1 star). The ziplock is not molded into the bag, it's glued to the sides. So after the first day I end up dumping the rest of the bag in the water for the fish because these things have a special stink (which is probably why they work so food for fishing). So, buy 1 bag for every day you want to fish.

This stuff wont even stay on the hook. Followed instructions put it on the hook, placed it in the water for a minute bait fell off.

Crabs like it, wasps like it and was not aiming for that as result. Uh let’s see, looks like there’s fur in it… or drier lint. Smells like Cheetos. Minnows/sardines stayed away from it.

Used these before and they were great but the pack I received, although unopened, was very dry and repeatedly lost during casting. Not the normal gooey chunks I have expected from this product. Perhaps this was a very old stock?

Got the Liver and cheese one, and got this awesome catch! Definitely getting more. In general, but especially if its hot outside, I do recommend bringing the bait with an ice pack in a small lunchbox or anything cold, it'll hold better on the hook. Oh also it has hairs in it? Makes it hold a lot better too
