I just started using masks not long ago & while I like the collagen variety, this snail mucin is the one I am now subscribed to. The others work really well, but I was able to feel immediate results with this one. Also, it works very well with the rest of my minimalist skin care routine.Because they are so thin & slippery, the masks can be difficult to remove from the inner wrapping& get in place. I end up getting the part around my mouth IN my mouth half the time. These are thinner than the gel masks I've used because of the nearly tissue-thin material. However, they don't slide as much as the gel ones and stay in place - once I get them in place.What I like most is that the essence just works better for my skin needs. Everyone is different & I have noticed that snail mucin happens to be what my drier and more mature skin loves. I wash my face and after leaving the mask on for around 20 minutes (and sometimes longer, if I am busy), my skin feels super hydrated. I apply some bakuchiol niacinamide (that my skin also loves, my regular moisturizer and, for daytime, my sunscreen.
