I work in the CDCR and this is perfect for those days where you’re out in the yard and the sun is beaming at 105 degree weather. Honestly super light it doesn’t weight much, it allows any breeze to run through and feels cool, if you soak it, it gets cold, and it’s a pretty big size you can potentially make 2 out of it.

This camouflage sniper veil/neck rag is fantastic. I keep it tied to the top of my buttpack with shock cord and use it for camoflaging positions and equipment. The camo patterrn is so effective that I could not find my belt geat once for 3 days. When I treat it with permethrin, the tics avoid it. When I treat it with the right cologne, women follow us around on patrol. It is highly functional, lightweight and undeniably sexy. Be sexy. Buy this sniper veil. *Cheers.

Always good to have a couple of these around just in case someone F's with squirrels. I wouldn't say I've really put these to the test, but what I have done with them they've held up well. They are not to keep you warm or cool, they are to keep you hidden.

Bought for Arizona's high dessert. Good material that wont shred, feels fine wrapped around the neck and has just the right amount of "see through ability" to not interfere with spotting.

Gekauft habe ich den Schleier für Tierbeobachtungen und zur optischen Verschleierung von mir selbst sowie meiner Ausrüstung. Die Bezeichnung „Scharfschützenschleier“ halte ich zwar für etwas übertriebenes Marketing, am eigentlichen Einsatzzweck ändert das aber nichts.Das Material ist recht steif, raschelt kaum und hatte bei meinem Exemplar nur einen geringen Eigengeruch. Durch die Maschen lässt sich gut sehen, ohne dass man ständig das Gefühl hat, hinter einem Vorhang zu sitzen.Trotzdem würde ich empfehlen, den Schleier vor dem ersten Einsatz gründlich auslüften zu lassen. Gerade bei der Tierbeobachtung kann selbst ein leichter künstlicher Geruch schnell zum Nachteil werden.Als Schal ist das Material für meinen Geschmack zu steif und zu künstlich. Als Tarnmittel erfüllt es seinen Zweck jedoch ordentlich – und schließlich soll es tarnen und nicht auf den Laufsteg.
