**Q: Can you pause this like you can with the tamagotchi - by putting it on the adjust clock screen, or does it just kick you off the menu after a while?**
A: You can put the clock forward to the digimon's sleep as evolution time, hunger and exercise pauses while it sleeps.

**Q: Does anyone know if there are exclusive eggs on each version? I want to raise a Garurumon and just need to know if it is on all, or specific ones**
A: Sort of, garurumon is on all of them but they have exclusives, some being linear digivolution lines based on the anime, the garurumon that's available in all of them can't go to weregarurumon but the anime egg can

the yellow, white and the grey ones have the gabumon line that follows the anime

Brick, blue and black have agumon

Magenta, translucent blue and translucent green with pink border, have coronamon (poorly aged name imo)

Neon Red, translucent purple and translucent yellow have lunamon

Glow in the dark, translucent orange and translucent green with orange borders, have meicoomon

IIRC you get these by connecting to 5 different v-pets (you can use two if you just reset the other one after connecting it and repeating that until you've done it 5 times)
