Really, really helpful! Husband had meniscus repair surgery. Ordered 2, so he’d have one in the freezer. The whole wrap freezes, not an insert like some. Velcro is great, he was even able to wear it and walk around! Excellent product!

These ice packs are amazing. I ordered another type as well, but the Medivac ice packs are far superior in fitting my knee and keeping it cold. I had meniscus repair surgery on both my knees and am so glad I have these ice packs! The only (minor) downside is that the Velcro straps are very long, which is probably good for a larger person, but a little too long for a petite woman.

I have Spinal Stenosis, sciatica, a shoulder scapula, pull muscle on my elbow right arm and a lot of inflammation. ok with that, if anyone has experience any of these painful traumas know how painful it can be and the discomfort that comes with it, I have tried everything thing one can come up with to easy my pain and finally I came across this product and have found a tremendous relief. What I love about it that it freezes just about the right temperature and when the use as hot it great. The Gel wraps have help me to experience less pain and my swelling have gone down sufficient. I recommended this product to anyone that is in any discomfort. I am 76 years old, and I didn't think it was possible but yes am able to sleep more and laugh a little. Recently I had a grade 2 tear in my MCL and have lived off of ice packs and motrin. This ice pack has worked well. The design allows it to fit across my entire knee. With the straps I am able to make it as tight or loose as I would like it. While moving around the straps enable me to be able to walk around even with the ice pack on. When put in the freeze rolled up it is compact and does not take up too much space. It also remains cold for approximately 15-20 minutes.

Great cold treatment for sore knees

I’ve been having knee pain in both knees from working out and needed a way to ice my knees after the gym so I purchased two of these ice packs. They feel so good in my knees. The quality is really nice- thick gel all over and the Velcro straps are sturdy and easily adjustable. I like how they form around my whole knee area really well. They stay cold for a long time too. Between the quality and price, I gave these 5 stars. No complaints.

This does not cover the entire circumference of the knee. It only covers about half of it. If I’d have known that, I would not have purchased it. Other than that, the quality is ok. The ice pack doesn’t seem cold enough, and it doesn’t stay cold for more than 20 minutes.

I gave this 5 stars because I spent several hours researching ice packs and while this one isn’t perfect, I feel it’s the best you’ll find. It’s made of thick vinyl so I don’t think anything will poke holes in it. Has a good binding to keep it from falling apart. I got the larger size. Right size for back, knee, shoulder. It gets really cold. Although a little stiff straight from the freezer, it bends fine within 2 minutes. It has a center divider that helps conform it to your body. It stays cold a good amount of time but I haven’t timed it. Also not sure how long it takes to re-freeze but I would guess 1.5 hrs. Only downside is as it thaws it forms moisture on the outside. I wrap it in a very thin kitchen towel and it takes care of the problem. I would definitely recommend this ice pack. Update: the ice bag may be a heavy final but it’s covered by canvas-like cloth.
