This is a no-frills laptop stand that does what it says on the tin, so to speak. It is crafted of lightweight aluminum, but feels very sturdy. It easily supports my Dell XPS, which weighs a bit over four pounds / ~2 kg. It folds neatly for easy storage or transport. The joints are very strong and do not give or wobble when weight is added.My only (minor) complaint is that adjusting the tension on the joints is a little difficult. A flimsy wrench is included, but mine didn't seem to fit the nuts on each joint. I just manipulated it by hand with a bit of effort, and that seems to work.

The description says it fits laptops up to 17", but this was not the case for mine. While it's well built and quite sturdy, there's a good inch or more of my laptop hanging off the back, which causes it to be unstable and the screen wobbles when I type. It's also very hard to adjust the height. It does come with a wrench, which I assume is to adjust the bolts to make it easier to move, but the wrench is very difficult to use due to the angle and the fact that the bolts are so tight. I wanted to love it, but ended up returning it. I'm giving it 3 stars, because I bet it works really nicely with smaller laptops, but if you have a heavier/larger laptop, this probably isn't the stand for you.

I tested this stand on different laptop setups that I have in my house and no matter which laptop we used, this stand was able to hold either one. To test the weight of this stand, I placed a monitor on top of it. I did have to turn the stand around because the 2 brackets that come up and hold our laptops were kind of in the way. However, this was even able to hold a monitor. When it first arrived, I noticed that the arms of the stand were wrapped in foam and from looking at other reviews when shopping for one, the biggest complaint I saw was that it arrived scratch so I thought that was a great way to protect it during shipment. The stand itself can be moved to be more agronomical for you to be able to look at and to have it eye level. Once you adjust it to where you want it, the stand stays in that position and doesn't move. Even when you close a laptop and walk away, it still stays in that position. Really is sturdy and allows you have more space when it's needed. Plus, if you need to, it's easy to wipe clean. What I really love about this is the opening is more than big enough to all air to vent through so your laptop doesn't overheat.

I already have an ergonomic desk due to a disability and needed a laptop holder so I could use my desktop and laptop at the same time. I was amazed at the sturdiness! It has really held up well. My only con is it can be very hard to adjust/collapse if you have a disability. I have to stand up and use a lot of weight to get it to collapse, which defeats the purpose of getting it for ability purposes. However, it obviously needs to be sturdy. Regardless, I enjoy the product and would buy it again.

It is a good little stand, does what it is supposed to do. I've only had it about three months or so, so it is a bit early to judge its sturdiness. So far, so good.

It is sturdy and portable. A little tough to open and fold.

Does the job perfectly for what I wanted! Good height, stable and I don't worry about it toppling over or falling down. The only reason it has 4 stars instead of 5 is because when I open my laptop it can lift over the little bottom edge part and start to slide off - wish there was some sort of grippy part or something to hold the laptop in place a bit better.

It’s nice, but not very portable since the angle is hard to setup without the tools
