Saikyo White Miso 18 Oz

This type of miso is not easy to find. This stuff is great. It’s smooth and less salty than other types of white miso. It’s pricey but it’s my go-to and I highly recommend it.

I have used a variety of misos over the years, and while I appreciate its uses and flavors, the high salt content has always bothered me. Enter this miso. It is like a completely different animal, creamy with a great nutty flavor but not exploding with saltiness. I could just eat it plain. Amazing product.

I received the delivery, the miso had only one week left before its expiration date, and White miso should be white with a slight yellow tint color, but the color has changed to brown. This means it has been left out at room temperature for a long time.

Used this for making Nobu's Miso Black Cod. I like it! Not as salty as some of the other ones I've tried.

I used to use this at the restaurant. This is really affordable and nice white miso.

The color was red , not yellow/white. I won’t buy it again. It was nearing its expiration date.
