I am not sure if you mean fit you or fit under the seat on the air plane. My husband is 6'6 and 280lbs it fits him great. We just went to Germany and it fit in the over head maxed out. if you are packing light it will fit under the seat.

I have a thinkpad 430 and there is plenty of room to spare. I also have a portable monitor for the rearmost pocket and it also fits. Space will not be an issue!

It depends on how you use it. BUT High Sierra has a warranty for defects (i.e. Seams coming apart. The main issue I have had has been the seams unraveling. High Sierra has sent me a replacement bag after their review of the photos during my claims.
