SafaviehAntiquity Collection 7'6" x 9'6" Sage AT21D Handmade Traditional Oriental Premium Wool Area Rug

I went round and round with Savfavieh about the color photos with this rug. Frankly, I do not care for their advice of buying a smaller rug first and then getting the size you need. Most monitors have pretty good resolution so it's up to the quality of the photos submitted. The colors are not quite as washed out as what you see online. The green in this rug is more of a blue-green. Sherwin Williams Quietude paint color is almost a spot on match - I'll be painting my walls SW Rainwashed which is the next shade up. The brown has a slightly pinkish undertone.People with allergies beware! This rug arrived with a very heavy musty odor - I'm waiting on Safavieh's customer service to advise how to get rid of the odor. Most wool rugs have some smell when they arrive but this one is over-powering.

This rug is absolutely stunning. I've been looking in stores for an area rug to match new furniture. I finally decided to long on line and thought I would check Amazon first. I was reluctant because matching a rug, from my laptop, to the furniture was taking a chance. I am not disappointed. The rug matches beautifully. I think the quality of this Safevieh rug for what we paid for it is unbelievable. It looks very rich and I anticipate getting many compliments on it. I've been sending family and friends pictures all evening because I'm so thrilled with it. I would high recommend this rug and would most definitely purchase Safevieh rugs again.

This rug is soft, feels like quality, and looks great! It was about $100 more than the carpets at our usual furniture store, but it was well worth it because we had a better selection through Amazon and ultimately got more rug for the money. It's a better rug, a bigger rug, and a nicer rug. My wife loves it. The colors are beautiful. She was worried that the lighter color around the edge might be "yellow", but such wasn't he case. It looks just like it does online. Beautiful. The design is very nice. It's supposed to be made out of better materials that aren't cancer causing like the ones we were finding at the furniture store. It came wrapped up very nicely, unpacked easily, and rolled out great. It has a nice backing, so we don't even need a backing piece to keep the carpet on the wood floor. A great purchase!

Bought it in two sizes for two different rooms. My only complaint is the shedding - a lot of it. But the colors are great, and there must be a lot of variance because people are writing how dull the gold is ~ mine is like a mustard-gold and very pretty and pleasing to the eye. Love the thickness, too.

This is a very nice weight. The thickness surprised me because for the price I expected it to be thin but is a really nice thickness and overall quality is great! The only thing is, the color. The picture shows it to be much darker and richer color, the mustard color is really more of a cream color. Still looks great but I would have preferred the mustard color.

I am using this carpet in my dining room. It is very well-made, looks more expensive than it was. Color seem very true the photograph. When the carpet first arrived and we unrolled it, it had a couple big creases. It is advised to reverse roll it, but because I have it under very heavy table that was not really possible. Someone told me to try ice cubes, that helped but didn’t really work. I tried steaming it from the top and that didn’t work. My contractor came and help me roll it so that we could steam the creases from the bottom. That worked in the room lays Perfectly. Is my second carpet of this manufacturer and I would say, they are both great quality.

We love this rug. The pile is thick and feels amazing on bare toes. The colors are just as pictured (at least on my screen) and the pattern works well. It is definitely worth the difference in price compared to the flimsy bargain pieces I kept finding in big box stores. Would heartily recommend for purchase.

Disappointed with color. More of a turquoise than true blue. Also, did not match the round AT21E I bought shortly before.

Nice and thick but colour representation on website is not accurate. Runner appears to be soft colours but is actually very intense. The beige is a gold right out of the 70's. Also the rug has a very musty odour to it. Disappointed.
