Instructions poor, find a video for an invisible stitch
This seam stitch repair kit has helped with repairing the seams on our boat seats. It's most likely a little more expensive than it should be for what you get, but much less than getting them professionally repaired or replaced. I initially read the instructions and attempted to sew it, but soon quit as it jist wasn't working the way I wanted. Later on I searched for a video to do a "hand-sewn invisible stitch" and tried again. Success! It's not perfect, but looks much better than the torn seam. The needle is quite strong and the thread is strong and smooth. Working out quite well. Time consuming, but satisfying to get done.

Easy to use, hopefully the thread is strong enough to hold up. Appears to be but will tell in time.The worst issue with this is that the needle is so big that it leaves a much larger hole than the actual thread… used it on my awning and you can definitely see through the holes it left behind

Couldn't get it to work.
Wanted to mend 3 inches of a seam on boat vinyl seat. Seemed though it should be easy. But needles were too thick. Could not get them to pass through thread holes in vinyl. Gave up.

Great quality thread and needle!!
This product worked GREAT!! The seam on my RV couch ripped. I was worried a thread and needle wouldn’t work with the unique material, but I was wrong. This product provided very thick thread and a curved needle which made the DIY fix possible for me. I’m by no means a seamstress but I followed the easy instructions for a “seamless stitch” on the back of the packaging. The only flaw was my own with the scrunching at the bottom.

Inexpensive and it works!
I used this product on a boat cushion. There were two areas where the stitching came out. While the end result does not look perfect, it looks good enough. And, will stop and further tearing.Before ordering this product, I took the seat cushion to two professional seamstress/upholstery locations and they could not repair the cushion. So, for 15-bucks, I did it myself. When boating season is over, I might take the cushion to a boat upholstery repair shop to replace the vinyl. However, it might not be necessary.

Overpriced - doesn't work.
Make no mistake - what you get here is a 5x overpriced set of two needles and two tiny rolls of garn along with lousy instructions.None of this will work to fix or stitch vinyl - luckily I found out during the return window. You should simply not buy it.
