They didn't work too well. You have to screw them all the way to the open position to get them on to the AC fitting. Then it won't take any refrigerant. All the way open is closed. Then you have to turn the valves all the way closed to get them to open. In the end I was able able to make them work, but having open be closed and closed be open added 20 minutes to my DIY job.
