Relaxation DVD - Tropical Birds with Music or Nature Sound Calming Scenes of Pure Nature for Dogs and Cats and Happy People

The good news is this helped alleviate some of Romeo's (my pied cockatiel) depression. He lost his one and only mate to being eggbound in her first clutch. The picture is good, volume is excellent, and some of the tunes the birds use are similar to what Romeo mimics. The not so good news is several of the scenes use very overwhelming rainfall sounds and the birds are not audible. Also, even in the best and most audible scene there are occasional cars racing in the background or construction saws at work. Not exactly a nature DVD. So because of those obvious flaws reducing the 6 available scenes to only 1 due to rainfall, and even at that the 1 has the saws in the background, I only give this a 3 star review.

This is a great D.V.D. for Meditation. . . .& there are various beautiful Tropical Birds, & various parts to the actual D.V.D. itself. . . .l think, there are between 3-5 parts, that featurevarious Tropocal Birds. . . .one of which, is the Peacock. . . .shows a Male, w/tail feathers/the plummage. . . .it''s just gorgeous. However, it doesn't show the Red & Green Macaw, which id shiwn on the D.V.D. cover but only twice. . . throughout the whole 1-2 hr. ? Don't remember exactly the number, of total minutes. The D.V.D. does not feature, Green & White species at all. I was hoping, that there would be alot of footage e.t.c. featuring the Macaw Parrot. That was what l gad expected, after reading about this D.V.D. But was very disappointed, ti see that there wasnt. *Especcially, since there aren't really any other D.V.D.'s available on this site, about Macaw Parrots, in the wild.

I am from South America, from the real middle of the world, where Ecuadorian Amazon rain-forest is home to truly amazing biodiversity. And when I got to watch Tony Helsloot's Tropical Birds with Music or Nature Sound I couldn't feel happier and identified with such artwork of nature's voices and musical water's wavelengths combined with piano's relaxing frequencies. These are united by a lovely use of vibrant color and animal's consciousness of their peaceful habitat....I truly believe if politicians and governments (congresses, parliaments, senates, etc) would see this DVD, there would flat to zero their compulsion for wars and stop the manufacture of mass destruction weapons...and perhaps they would decide to celebrate universal brotherhood by reuniting for a drink in the Ecuadorian Amazon Basin and relax, like those living creatures in the DVD coming for a drink and a splash, getting along so well like celebrating nature's endowed talent.... Lovely to watch them..... Amazing video production by Tony Helsloot.

I bought this primarily for two small pet parrots and the fact it will play in a loop. I’m finding fewer DVD’s that will do this. It does have beautiful scenery and birds. The pet birds enjoy it briefly. Playing in a loop doesn’t help us with this one. I also don’t find the audio in this production relaxing. Once it plays through once I’ve heard enough in the background of my daily life. The birds voice their opinion about that time too. I’ll continue to play it from time to time but I wouldn’t buy it again.

This video is fun to watch, especially, with my cat. We watch the video when I come home from work, stressed out. I feel my stress level diminish almost immediately. The variety of animals shown is amazing and I get to see other animals that I don't see everyday. The accompanying music is very calming and the nature sounds are wonderful. My cat, who is usually rambunctious, sits quietly on the couch watching this video.

My cats watch the DVD of birds on my TV. They are happier than ever before.

Wow! What a unique video. I have purchased scenery, but never saw any videos with just birds or animals. Everyone who comes over and sees it thinks it's fantastic. I don't care for the bird sounds, but the advantage to this video is you can switch to relaxing music and it continuously loops without having to stop what you are doing to restart it. The music is very soothing. The bird pictures are quite vibrant. A great gift for anyone.

This is a really nice video of birds and flowers. I play this all the time for my mom who is in a nursing home and she loves it! I think this would also be great for dentists or doctors office, very calming!

Very good depiction of various bird and have the option to have natural sounds or the music would help to be able to mix the two tracks and that would have earned a 5 stars

this was bought as a Christmas present but I am sure will be well received

I bought this for my wife as a calming option. This works occasionally so is mixed with all the others
