Q: How much space is thete from the floor to the bottom of the storage unit at the end?

It is on legs and it is 4 1/2 inches

Q: How wide across is the actual bed part (slats) on a queen size? I have a 60 “ wide mattress and am worried about the 5” extra on the sides.

Not sure. I think most mattresses are 60 wide.

Q: Can you use an adjustable bed base with this bed frame

No. This bed comes with the head board the actual bedframe and it has wooden slats. It most a box spring however, your bed would sit extremely high. I had this bed for 2 years bow and i have a 12” hybrid mattress from Samsclub and the bed is sturdy and mattress fits snug and is stable and comfortable.

Q: Is this easy to take apart for a move

I thought it was easy to assemble, so it should be just as easy to disassemble.
