Great product!
I own a food truck and really didn't want a smelly & loud generator for our internal electrical needs (2 lighted hoods, internal lights & external over our signage, a small chest freezer, a stereo and a rarely used small air conditioner. I also bought a high end battery (It is really heavy!) and 2 extra solar panels. The AC & chest freezer are real energy hogs, so the extra power keeps us from occasional outages. At some point, I will get another battery and more solar panels so we can run a blender. When I called WindyNation and gave them the wattage or description of each item and the frequency it would be used, they helped me to calculate my solar panel and battery needs. They were super nice, friendly and informative. We even discussed situations, like if there is a several day long storm or if we have ice cream in the freezer and need it to stay really cold all summer long without concern.I am very impressed with this company, both with the product and the customer service. Since this is a commercial food truck, I had to hire a professional electrician to set this up. This is just as well since we also have a propane tank for the cooking equipment and I am not skilled with electronics and plumbing. Our electrician was very impressed with this kit. It was his first time working with solar, but he was able to set it up pretty quickly and without complication. In fact, he is going to buy a WindyNation kit for his parents.

Excellent product...
I bought this as my first investment on solar energy and after reading the reviews I select Windy Nation kit, I did buy the WindyNation 200 Watt (2pcs 100 Watt) Solar Panel Kit with 1500W VertaMax Power Inverter and since We got hit by Hurracaine Maria in Puerto Rico and still with no power, but this kit have make my life easier since I have power to run most of my important devices, actually using with 2 100amp deep cicle batteries in parallel and all just work. Sunlight is no problem in Puerto Rico so batteries remain charge all the time.I'm using about 4 lights (22 watts CFL's) lights, 2 fans, small refrigerator 3', 46" lcd tv, internet router and even I can use my washing machine so no more hand wash my family laundry. I recommend this kit to all of you that are looking to start on solar power. Fuses are not included but must used and since is a kit it should be included as part of the kit. Need two buy 3 fuses, 1 from panel to controller, 1 from controller to battery bank, 1 from battery to inverter and don't forget too the cable in my case 10 awg that go from controller to charge the battery bank with another fuse.

Setup works great in full sun on a nice day -- doesn't ...
Added another 100 watt panel and put this kit onto a 2015 Northwood, Artic Fox Truck Camper -- dumped the solar charge controller that came with it, opting instead for a flush mount Samlex model that tells you exactly how much power you're generating and consuming as well as where you're at with overall power remaining. Tricky to squeeze in that 1500 watt inverter (it's not at all small), but found a spot for it under the sink and ran it through a 200 AMP switchable 12 volt circuit breaker using #2 gauge cables -- handy that it has 3 outlet plugs though I don't know I have a requirement for more than one. Setup works great in full sun on a nice day -- doesn't do nearly as well on overcast or cloudy days however. Don't know if that's good or bad as this is my first time experience with solar panels -- got it so that I wouldn't have to run my generator much, and while I don't have to do that as much -- still a requirement on those cloudy days. Make sure you park in full sun to ensure the panels do what they're designed for. Will try to come back and update this over time when I've had it longer -- likely I will either add or take away a star here...

My first venture into Solar
Update September 2017Great bundle does as expected. It's up to you to decide the kind of battery bank you want to run the inverter on but I recommend this product. I use it to power a single bedroom, basically powering a lamp, a fan and a laptop.{Jan 5. 2015}Ordered on the 20th of December, Delivered on the 30th. Pretty good seeing that I chose Free shipping and it was close to the holidays. It later reached my Bahamas address on the 5th of January. (But you guys don't have to worry about that)So far so good, I'm pleased with the products. Everything feels well made, the inverter feel like it should have been smaller but what do I know. I have yet to actually use the products so I will have to update later.

Panels for my RV
I'm currently converting a mini school bus into a camper and I bought this kit to provide electricity for my refrigerator, interior LED lights, TV, and for charging my laptop/phone/camera/etc. I installed it on the roof two days ago. Installation was fairly easy. There weren't any instruction packaged with the panels but the charge controller and inverter came with instructions. I was able to download instructions from the windy nation website that were fairly easy to follow. As mentioned by others, there are fuses that you need to safely assemble the panels that were not included but can be found on amazon for around 30 bucks. Once everything was connected to the battery I immediately began to see the system working. So far I'm very pleased with this kit and I'll try to update this review as time goes on.

Junk inverter
The inverter has stopped working and does nothing but alarm. The power switch will not turn the thing off. I sent it back and was told they will replace it. They returned the same one I had sent them back. I assumed they would fix my origional one but when I hooked it up it started to do the same thing; alarming with no voltage output. The batteries are fully charged but it does nothing but alarm. I have tried to contact them again and they have not responded back. If they do I will update my review.

Great system. I have no electrical experience but with fast responses and help from Customer Service at Windy Nation I was able to understand what I needed to do. The system is complete except for fuses/breakers which is advisable to fit (3 in total for my system) and you'll need to additionally purchase grounding wire for the inverter and wiring for the controller to your battery. I'll see how it performs but I think it will do exactly what I needed it for.
