Thick copper. Not easily dented but easily scratched. Follow directions for care and always use a clean, soft cloth. I don’t know if it’s just a placebo effect, but I feel better after using them for a week.

Love the look of this but after drinking purified water from this that had been sitting in fridge to get cold it had a strong copper taste, did not like it.

I love the look of the new shiny copper and even though intellectually I know that will not last, it is a great looking, easily accessible water pitcher. If I had to do it again, I would probably get either the cups or the pitcher just because I am not swimming in money. Don't know what I was thinking when I made the purchase. I store the pitcher with water in it outside the refrigerator in the kitchen. When I drink the water I think it tastes like ionized water. Once the pitcher gets older I suspect the taste will change some for the better but the pitcher will not shine like it does now. I put Brita filtered water in the pitcher. This filters out the solids but leaves chemicals. I believe storing the water as I do helps reduce the chemical content. (Water is very hard where I live in Kansas.) I do have access to natural spring water that I may use in the future with the pitcher. I understand the copper should act as an antibiotic for any germs that may be in the spring water. Spring water may taste differently when compared to the Brita filtered tap water once stored in the copper pitcher. I am happy with the pitcher and cups. They are thick enough, there is no coating on the inside, just copper and since I am single it is plenty big enough. Part of why I bought this is because I thought I read that copper can help reduce the bags under my eyes. It may be you need copper peptides, not just copper. If anyone reads this and has more information it would be helpful to a potential buyer. I don't know what a copper peptide is and now that I have my copper water pitcher, truthfully, I don't care for a while. The set is decorative and I am glad I have it. But still feeling the pain in my wallet. :/

This is quality as well as attractive you shouldn’t hesitate to buy. The Pitcher with the tumblers also the mule mugs ..excellent!

I wish I would’ve bought one for myself. I purchased this as a house gift for someone and they raved about it. It looked so beautiful she wants to use it as a piece instead of a drink set. Definitely worth every penny!!!
