I know that there has been some negative press about her recently but I absolutely adore Azealia Banks' music. I don't know what my ears were doing before they first heard '212' but it obviously wasn't anything important. She sounds like old school lil' kim with a dance club vibe that I LOVE. I fell like I need to put on some pumps and dance the house down. And she can sing a little bit which is great. I'm not going to make any grand statements about the state of rap or female rappers and just say that I enjoy her music and there's always a song or two of hers on all of my playlists. If you're looking to get into her this is a good start before her album comes out. Also 'Luxury' which isn't on this EP is a great song to get into.

Azealia Banks is crazy talented. If you like the ridiculously fast rap and the sick beat of 212, 1991 and Liquorice won't disappoint you either. I'm not really a fan of Van Vogue, though - it's slow and long. I'd still say it's a must buy, though, for both rap and dance music enthusiasts. This girl is intense.

Wie viel Power diese EP hat. Eine der besten CDs die ich seit langen hatte. Azealia Banks ist wirklich cool und jetzt wohl meine Lieblingsrapperin. Im Gegensatz zu Pop-/Elektro/Rap-"Künstlerin" Nicki Minaj ist Azealia wenigstens ne richtige Rapperin! Jeder Track ist gut. Ihre Videos finde ich auch gut. Meine Favoriten sind 1991, Liquorice und natürlich 212, obwohl das ein Track ist den ich mir zuvor noch nicht mal auf YT anschauen wollte. Dann hab ich es doch getan und es ist wirklich explosiv! Ich warte jetzt schon auf ihr Album "Broke With Expensive Taste", da ich ihren Song Yung Rapunxel richtig gut finde, trotz der Illuminaten-Symbole, die übrigens in allen ihrer Videos auftauchen. Ich hoffe ihre Musik bleibt so cool, ATM Jam ist nähmlich ein Reinfall und Pharrell passt da nicht zu... Übrigens zu den Kosten von 12,99 € die der eine Rezensent "erwähnte". Ich finde den Preis auch unangemessen, ich jedoch habe einfach aus Amerika importieren lassen, was mit Versandkosten insgesamt nur 5,13 € waren. Der Versand dauerte zwar länger, aber es hat sich gelohnt. Ich hätte auch gerne lieber die Vinyl gekauft aber na ja...

Yes it's short, but hey it's an EP! And for a four tack set this packed a punch. I bought the CD at HMV after I heard 212 and fell in love. I've followed her ever since, and to celebrate her new album I bought this record on vinyl. It played great, awesome tracks and a great artist.

Azealia Banks es una de las mejores raperas del panorama actual, por no decir la mejor. Su mezcla de estilos, sus bases house tan noventeras y su forma de rapear tranquila, fresca, casi susurrándotelo, simplemente hacen de esta EP de 4 temas una carta de presentación impresionante.
