So far, so good. The only question now is how long does it last?I'm had it about two months now and am pleased.

This is my own fault. However, when I was searching for smart bulbs these popped up and I thought oh they would be great. They look just like smart bulbs but they are not.

I like the soft light the bulb gives off. I'll let my light bill tell me if energy efficiency is involved.

I love these so much, they are so bright but not overwhelming

Update: Of the 6 pack, I installed 4 just after I bought them. The first one has failed now. Less than 1 year of use. Update 2: second bulb in same fixture went dead about 2 weeks after the first one. Even if I use those (2 in one overhead fixture) 6hrs a day x330 days, it is 2,000 hours, no where near the 15,000 expected/promised. Actual use is much less. So I must downgrade to 3*. Still good bulbs and decent value. Cost for each just went up and convenience factor and trust went down. Update 3: One of the bulbs already replaced just died. So now that it 3 of the 6 bulbs that only lasted 1 year. Downgrading to 2*These 3 bulbs were all installed in a 2 bulb covered fixture, rated for 60 watts (I assume that means 2 60W incandescents, but it doesn't really matter as these are 9W bulbs.) These bulbs are rated for enclosed fixtures, but I'm not so sure. The one still working was quite hot when I took it out which may be the problem. The other 2 remaining bulbe are installed in single bulb enclosed (globe type) fixtures and are excellent. Those other 2 bulbs get much less use and for shorter periods, so they probably get much less hot.I sent an email to the listed warranty contact months ago and received no response.These looked like a reasonable value. My local utility has LED for very cheap prices, but only in 2700k (warm white) I am liking the 5000k for the realistic color, which seems to make everything look brighter. Most of my bulbs are already converted to CFL, so upgrading to LED doesn't save that much money. (60W INC = 13W CFL =9W LED) However, the CFL tend to dim over time, and most annoying is that they don't fully light immediately. It takes maybe 5 minutes if they are cold (e.g. garage, basement) before they come to full brightness. LED come to full brightness instantly. Now that LED have finally reached a decent price level, I will be converting my remaining CFL and any incandescents I may stumble across. I cannot guess the actual life span of these bulbs, but all LED promise very long life. I can't really compare these bulbs to the same thing an a different brand. At this point, I have several brands in several sizes and configurations, and they all seem to work great. I think price point is my deciding factor, when I add new sizes to my collection. Unlike the houses on HGTV, we don't have 72 ceiling cans and 24 lights on the outside of the house lighting up the bushes, so my experience is more limited than many others. I now find that I am getting dimmable bulbs for best price, even though I don't really need that.

Love led lamps, put in my table lamps and overhead room lights

I love the shape of these, the light is bright but not sharp, and they last a long time. What more can one ask of a lightbulb?
