My husband wears a size large, but sometimes shirts can run small. should i get him the large or xl superman shirt?

Definitely go with the extra large or a different company all together. I usually wear large I got an extra large and it won’t even fit over my arms hardly. Very small sizes

Yes, it is detachable, but I do want to warn you that I washed the shirt in cold water on delicate and the emblem was ruined after one washing!!! :(
