Having used cheap taps for years these are a revelation! At £10 for 3 (M5) they're not exactly expensive but given that most cheap sets with all the sizes are about £20 it seems a lot.However when it comes to using them you'll be glad you spent the extra money. They sail through whatever your tapping. No wincing every half turn as they feel like they're going to snap these just do the job smoothly and quickly.

Good to use traditional British quality tools unlike the far eastern poor quality more often found. Yes more expensive but infinitely better.

Used to replace some Taps I previously had. These Presto Taps were far superior to my previous non-branded ones. These cut through the angle iron I was tapping with ease. Very sharp. I had several holes to Tap and only needed the one Tap so kept two of the Taps for future use

Taper tap broke on first use. Promptly replaced by seller and replacement seems fine. Great service. I will only make occasional use of tap set so expect it to be fine now
