ADC Prosphyg 760 Pocket Aneroid Sphygmomanometer with Adcuff Nylon Blood Pressure Cuff, Small Adult, Black

I am caring for a 94 year old elderly woman whose arms are very small. The adult bp cuff was too large. Ordered the SMALL ADULT bp cuff. 1. I almost cancelled the order because the delivery date was about 4 weeks. It arrived 8 days after placing order and 5 days after the shipper shipped it. 2. The most serious problem with the order, was not the bp cuff, but the shipper. The shipper did not ship as ordered--a SMALL ADULT cuff; instead, what was shipped was a CHILD cuff. The packing slip clearly shows the order as SMALL ADULT, but the package shows CHILD. It may be the seller did not understand that there are 3 sizes of bp cuffs: adult, small adult, and child. This could have been a problem as my patients do not include children, but the patient is so anorexic that the child cuff works find. However, for other patients who are not as small as my patient, I will still have to order a small bp cuff. I could have saved money by buying the bp cuffs that come in three sizes in one package. I would give this seller a fair rating.

It’s tiny. I’m sure I should give it a 5 star because apparently I can’t read dimension sizes, but this thing is tiny! My arms are not large and it barely fits around them - barely. As soon as I pump it up, the Velcro detaches. It fits my 9 year old. I’m sure adults have small arms like this but this is an adult small? For real? I’d go a size up or 2.

I think this cuff is pretty good for the price. It came calibrated (got it from Amazon just to be in on the safe side) but one thing that's kind of annoying about it is the screw/knob that lets air out. It can stick a little at either end (all the way open or all the way closed) so when letting air out you may let out too much, too fast trying to get it going and have to pump back up to hear the Korotkoff sounds more accurately but that's pretty much something I've adapted to so it's not a big deal to me. If it is to you, I'd get a more expensive cuff.

It's nice, but I order the adult small after reading some of the reviews how people claimed it "fits most adults" which is BS. I had to reorder another cuff but besides that, it's fine

It is good quality sphygmomanometer but the "small adult" size is too small for adults. It works best for skinny teenagers. I bought this for my aunt who is a small 60 y/o woman and it barely fit her. If she gains a bit weight it will not fit anymore.
