Our home gets cold during winter nights as it is drafty. My kids like sleeping with the heating pad on low, but were fighting over it and having to take turns. I’d rather they didn’t sleep with a heating pad and didn’t want to buy electric blankets for everyone. I got these for each kid and they ask for them every night! Stays warm until morning! They said it’s like sleeping with a puppy! Lol

I bought this bag for my wife, who suffers from Premenstrual syndrome (PMS). When she is suffering severe pain, she places the bag full of hot water in the lower part of her abdomen and this calms the pain.It is not so good for back or neck-shoulder pain, since the bag tenses when it is full of water and is not very flexible to take the shape of the shoulder, for example. Also, if you have a very severe back pain you could lie on your stomach to place the bag on your back but the truth is that the weight of the bag full of water is not very comfortable in that case.In my opinion, this would serve more to calm menstrual cramps. In the case of shoulder or neck-shoulder pain, I would recommend more a blanket of those that are heated through electricity.As for the cover of the bag is a very soft material. También, si tienes un dolor muy intenso de espalda podrías recostarte boca abajo para colocar la bolsa encima de tu espalda pero la verdad es que el peso de la bolsa llena de agua no es muy confortable en ese caso.En mi opinión, esto serviría más para calmar los dolores menstruales. En el caso de dolor de espala o cuello-hombro, recomendaría más una manta de esas que se calientan a travez de electricidad.En cuanto al cobertor de la bolsa es de un material bien suave. Solo tienes que recordar colocar la bolsa en su cobertor antes de llenarlo de agua ya que el eslástico solo lo permite así.

I love this hot water bottle. I bought it in 3 colors so my daughters and I could each have our own. So soft and cozy and true to color on screen (I bought tan, gray and pink) It seals tightly and stays warm for hours (We have used it many times across 2 months). Has a nice thick rubber interior bottle and outside faux fur is removable. It looks just like the one sold by anthropology!

In Georgia was are having one of the hardest winters in recent history and its becoming apparent how poorly sealed my old house is. We lost power for 3 days during an ice storm and the only form of heat we had was my vehicle. To prepare for more ice storms, i have been reading blogs and learning how to retain heat and things to do to stay warm. Out of all the websites i visited, i found only 1 that mentioned hot water bottles. I immediately began researching them and made my purchase on Amazon. I could not be happier!After receiving it, everyone in my house also wants one. What's best about this one is the amazing length of time of stays hot. Literally hours and hour. Even after a few hours of filling with hot water and the cover on, its still too hot to lean back on for a long period of time.Looking at other hot water bottles, i am extremely happy with my purchase because of how other bottles will warn not to boil water before putting it in the bottle but this one has spec saying that its made special material to keep your water hotter longer. I've been boiling the water before adding with no problems, and feel like its constructed well enough to support that.I use it in my lap under my blanket when im sitting in the living room, or lean back against it on the couch, or in my bed to warm up the covers at night. It is my own personal heater. Love it! I will be buying more!The only negative thing i have to say is that the elastic is coming apart from the cover, and I've only had it for 3 days.

This thing is great and holds its heat for a long time. Love the cover for it. Generally I will heat it up to about boiling and with the cover it allows it to not be too hot and will release its heat slowly.Put hot water in it and then put in the microwave for a while.

One night my boyfriend wasn't getting well and being a huge baby about it. Being an EMT, I suggest many things to help him but he wasn't having any of it. So, as he laid in bed, grasping a pillow & moaning, I handed him my fuzzy hit water bottle. He grabbed on to the like a baby koala reaching for dinner & he clung to it the rest of the night.
