I love the number of pieces I got even if I definitely wish there were more gears. I mostly got what, I guess, are spring cases. As I was sorting everything into piles, I realized they would be great to use as beads. The gears are perfect for steampunk, the odd shapes just need some imagination. I see pieces begging to be parts of creatures, like legs, wings, antenna and wonky faces.The parts you get are small...a tiny amount of them are less than 1/16" - 1/32" (don't sneeze while sorting). But that's what one should expect with pieces of wristwatches. I've bought watch parts before (smaller amounts for a much higher price) so I wasn't disappointed or surprised at their size. I'm quite happy with this.

Absolutely beautiful selection! I make Steampunk jewelry and pocket watches and this is the best deal I've found. The pieces do need to be cleaned (I found a couple tiny pieces of cardboard and plastic) but this is still the best bulk package of parts I've gotten. Especially at such a low price. I reordered as soon as I opened the package! Highly recommend.

Nice collection of parts from small watches. Most of the gears, flywheels, and mainspring cases under 3/8 inch diameter, so if you are looking for very small watch parts for projects this could be a good choice.

These are rejects from a watch factory. That's not necessarily a bad thing. I bought them for my Granddaughters to put into resin castings. They are so tiny that I had to buy another set that have larger sizes. These are shown on the back of a smart phone in the photo. These are nothing like that. They range from a gear that is the size of the head of a pin to about 1/2" (12.7mm). I still might try some resin molding but my daughter is thinking of making ear rings with some of them. They have there place in Steam Punk but very limited.

Was hoping for a bunch of thin pieces and multi-colored gears for some steampunk pen blanks. All bendable gears and flywheels were silver colored. Couple of calendar wheels (one in Japanese), some faces (looks like fake Rolex) bunch of thin connecting pieces and, the bulk of the weight, three full gear mounts. Will be lucky to have enough small gears and bendable metal to do a single pen.

Picture showed many gears and a variety of parts. Expected small parts, but bag had things like little screws and even metal dust that helped achieve the weight I'm sure. Returned and would NOT buy again

Beautiful pieces. I wish there was a bit more variety (in both size and shape) but I love them. Can’t Wait to use them.

Larger pieces-not huge-but a great selection. I will order them again. I’m going to add to my review. This assortment is awesome. Works fantastic for smaller (jewelry type) steampunk. More neat things (like watch faces) that aren’t shown in the picture. Both times it came much earlier than I expected.

The ad explicitly states "The Size of the pieces are between 2 - 4 cm large" This is an outright lie. We received a tiny bag (measuring 2 inches by 4 inches) containing tiny watch components, the vast majority of which are 1 cm or much less. In fact, there are only three items in the entire bag that are larger than 1 cm in diameter. Many components are only millimeters in width. Very disappointed.

The pieces are way smaller than they appear in the picture. Couldn't use most of the pieces, just too small.
