Dib Gs 437476 1 X Do it Dual Thread Faucet Adapter To Hose,Chrome

This tiny adapter has been a lifesaver. I have a screened enclosure off of the back of my house with tons of plants. Hauling around a water can got to be to much. Using the hose outside was inconvenient and the hose never reached all of the areas. This adapter has allowed me to hook up one of those retractable hoses from inside of the house and reach all of the plants on the patio. The adapter screwed on to my kitcken faucet easily and there are no areas with leaking water. The side of the adapter that attaches to the hose was also a good fit. The only thing I would complain about is the stream of water quality is not that great when using the faucet in the kitchen sink. Since I am not willing to keep taking off the adapter and putting back on the original one then I can live with it.

The item delivered is not the item pictured. I may not have purchased the product if the image on the product page had displayed the actual adapter. It also isn't worth the time to return it. Very disappointing purchasing experience. However, the three stars are my actual rating of the item, not the overall experience. Here goes:There is no knurled gripping surface, or any grip of any kind, just raw threads, making it very difficult to install without hurting oneself or damaging the piece while tightening it enough to prevent turning your kitchen into a tropical rain forest. I was able to get it to the point where the water spraying out is contained in the sink, but this required tightening with a pair of pliers.That all said and done, it does fit my faucet, and it does fit the carboy cleaner, so it just serves the intended purpose. I will probably just go down the street next time for this type of item.

Not sure why this says chromed, the product I received looks identical to the photo, but appears to be solid brass. I actually prefer that it is brass vs chrome. I purchased this adapter to use in place of the cheap junk version of this adapter that comes with most waterbed filler kits. I can never get these things to stay in place with any amount of water pressure. I just finished a drain and refill using this connector, and it worked flawlessly. I tested the connector and it fit well on my bathroom sink. My kitchen sink which has a deeply recessed connector was still able to connect, but only threaded in about one and a half turns before the hand grip threads bumped into the fixture. Overall, the adapter did exactly what I need, which is provide a solid hose thread connection on my sink fixture. I would recommend it for anyone looking for the same.

I purchased this to use with my Wort Chiller so that I connect it to my sink faucet. It came with the washer but my faucet is terrible and it won't work with the washer which is fine with me. the Wort Chiller connects just fine and it made of a high quality BRONZE metal which if you notice the picture of the product, that is not bronze, it's steel. this really didn't bother me at all but if i'm going to give something 5 stars, it better be 100% as described, picture and everything. this is my only issue with the product and i know it's a very, very small issue but still, update the picture.

I used this to connect standard washing machine hose to my kitchen faucet. Easy, just screw off the faucets tip, and screw on this to fawcet and then connect your machines hose to the other end. I have a little drip but hoping it won't matter much. I do not speak plumber so really had to peruse descriptions and feedback from customers , so thank all of you for contributing. 1st choice turned out to be the best.

This adapter fit our Moen bathroom faucet aerator threads perfectly. I bought it along with a 15' coiled hose w/nozzle to rinse the shower stalls after scrubbing, making the task much easier. As other customers have noticed, you can get cut. Although the adapter should only be screwed-in finger tight, by attaching the hose the adapter was forced on a bit tighter. When I grabbed it with my thumb and forefinger my fingers slipped, and the threads which are cut very sharp sliced the pad of my thumb. Gently tightening with pliers is recommended.

Didn’t work

I was tempted to put out a bad review on first inspection, but then I took a closer look and noticed:it has 2 different thread diameters on one side! On one side, it will fit a standard sink faucet thread (15/16") O.D. and the other side will fit either a standard garden hose (1") O.D. or something that takes a 7/8" O.D. It appears solid. Slightly different in appearance from what was shown in the picture (the knurl is a little different and it comes with a black rubber washer.p.s. this thing is sharp to the touchp.p.s. threads are hard to measure.
