M MATI Rear Brake Master Cylinder Assembly 43500-KZ4-J43 for Honda CR125 CR250 CRF150 CRF250 CRF250 CRF450

When installing, the boot kept falling out so I would push it back in then a clip and washer fell through as well. Tired of messing with it I put some gasket maker inside the boot to hold it in place. Knowing the purpose of the washer and c-clip did should of been a red flag right there. Two weeks later I go to ride the bike and it feels really slow and resistive. The rear master locked itself to where the brake pads were just dragging. This ended my day as the rotor and pads were smoking. Access the damage today and it appears that c-clip did not have the proper groove for it to sit in. I believe the piston got stuck somehow which caused it to always apply pressure.I am of course 1 day late on the return and now have to replace the rotor, pads (2 rides on them), and master cylinder. Lot of extra money is now going to have to be spent because of the fault. Worst part is, I ride the track so if the brake would have seized itself over one of the larger jumps it could have been a serious injury.
