This tea was pretty tasty - prominent dried apple note. Such a great price too!

I feel like this tea tastes more like a green tea than any sort of raw pu erh I've previously had. It is not too bitter or outright offputting, just unremarkable. The third and onward brewings taste the best (least astringency and most mellow flavor) to me. Id imagine its possible this tea was processed differently from the typical ways pu erh is processed and thats why it tastes more like a green tea. For brewing itn i'd recommend taking the time to remove twigs/stems from the loose tea and a lower temperature. Overall, I was conflicted on whether to give this tea 3 or 4 stars but I did 4 because it isnt the worst you can do at the pricepoint. I would say if you were looking to get pu erh at this price range, just buy a smaller cake of higher quality.Also, there is no apple note or sweetness as others have said in the tea cake I recieved. The packaging and appearance is nice though.

This is an acceptable sheng puerh for the price, but nothing unique and nothing that makes me particularly enjoy drinking it. Large broken leaves, some stem, but not a lot, only a couple silver buds.Maybe I got a different harvest/lot than the other reviews, but mine has very little sweetness and certainly doesn't taste "just like apple juice" as one reviewer described.Almost certainly a fake Bingdao product, as true Bingdao puerh would probably cost $50+ dollars for a cake of this size.

This cake is absolutely awesome. the aroma is difficult to describe but is almost like a really pleasant, light perfume. the taste is almost like apple juice. really pleased and definitely ordering again very soon as I'm moving through the cake quite fast. very please and surprised with the quality considering how affordable it was.
