Delivered as promised. It certainly lights up when you plug it in, and power goes through it to the (up to 4) units connected. There is only 1 power cord supplied though. So it seems to work but its true worth hasn’t been tested by a power cut yet. Build quality seems solid. It’s easy to set up and it does buzz a little and it is permanently lit up with large bright green lights. Not something for the bedroom!

I’ve gone through 3 of these in 2 years. Out of the blue the battery completely dies. A long beep is heard, and all my devices go offline, despite there being no power cut. My network would’ve been online more reliably if I hadn’t ever installed this UPS.

I've only just recently bought this UPS despite eyeing a UPS up for a while now. I wasn't as prepared as I should have been, so hopefully this review will help you to be more prepared than I was. Pros: - Good, solid unit with a bit of heft. - Apart from the alarms, which are mutable, quiet enough operation even when on battery. - A fair amount of IEC sockets to plug in several devices. - Battery backup and surge protection. - A reasonable 2 year warranty. - Very easy to set up and use, once you have the right cables. - Loud, but mutable alarms. Cons: - Seems to come with a European mains plug instead of a UK mains plug. - Batteries NOT user replaceable. - On the expensive side, but solid enough to excuse this mostly. As this only comes with a European mains plug and only 1 IEC adapter, I recommend that you buy a UK mains plug to power the UPS itself. I also recommend you buy 5 or 6 IEC to UK socket adapters so you can plug your standard UK plugs into the UPS, essential for devices like routers, printers, some monitors etc. that don't have a C13 plug type. These are the cables/adapters I bought, these work great for me. - Invero® 0.5M IEC C14 Cable Connector Plug to 1 Gang Mains Power Lead 13 Amp UK Socket 0.5 Metre (I got 5 of these to plug my monitor, router and other devices for later). - kenable UK Mains C19 Uninterrupted Power Supply UPS/Server Mains Power Cable 2m [2 metres] Overall I am very happy with this UPS. I don't know exactly how long it will power my load on battery. I think it would be pointless to state anyway as my load may differ significantly from yours. I hope this review is helpful to you.

Good little UPS that has sat quietly and done it's job. Superb customer service from the manufacturer when it decided not to be quiet and started emitting a continuous beep. I rang them up and the very helpful tech solved the problem within 10 minutes on an 0800 number and is checking back with me in a fortnight to confirm the unit is okay. The problem was almost certainly down to electricity works at the back of our building rather than the UPS. Highly recommended.

This is a solid, well-built UPS, reassuringly weighty at over 15 kg. It feels robust and is slightly longer but shorter in height compared with the older APC unit it replaced. Unfortunately, there are some big drawbacks for UK buyers: * Wrong power cable supplied – The unit ships only with a European-style mains lead, making it unusable out of the box. You’ll need a UK 3-pin to IEC C19 cable, not the standard “kettle lead” many of us have spares of. This oversight cost me an extra £10 and delayed installation by a full day. At this price point, APC should know better—UK mains plugs are not optional. * Very limited functionality – There is no connectivity at all. That means you cannot: • Use PowerChute software to configure thresholds, check battery health, or run self-tests • View logs of power cuts or expected runtime under load • Disable the buzzer or bright green front-panel lighting • Integrate with PC/server power management software for automatic shutdowns Instead, you’re left with just a single button on the front panel. It works, but compared with APC’s more advanced units, it feels stripped back and basic. On the plus side, once powered up it performs reliably, and the gentle operating buzz isn’t too intrusive. Verdict: At half the normal price, it’s just about worth it as a budget UPS. But the missing UK power lead is an unnecessary frustration, and the lack of management features makes it unsuitable for more serious setups like servers. APC really need to get their act together on the power lead.

It works. Only problem was the power lead came with an EU schuko plug. I had to cut it off and fit a UK plug as the unit’s input socket was not std IEC.

Good but no display to show remaining battery power. Beeps every 60 seconds when no mains input but this is easily disabled with quick press of the button. Lack of remaining power is a big miss. How much does a strip of 10 LEDs cost ?

Dumb UPS so no setup needed. I thought I'd need this over winter. I didn't so I've disconnected it for now to avoid the inevitable inefficiency of a UPS. I ran my ONT, router, a MESH WiFi unit and a Pi4 on this so only about 30w or so. I used it several times when the power saving sessions were active. One was a couple of hours and it lasted that OK.

Buon prodotto, UPS a doppia conversione con onda sinusoidale pura. Purtroppo è troppo rumoroso (50 db ad 1 metro), la ventola è sempre in funzione non solamente quando è in carica la batteria o se manca la corrente o se c’è un elevato carico elettrico. Purtroppo la ventilazione non è escludibile cosa confermata dal supporto tecnico. Consiglio l’acquisto solo se le caratteristiche tecniche sono strettamente necessarie e il rumore non è un problema dove viene collocato. In un normale studio non può stare! Ho avviato il reso. Do 4 stelle perché il prodotto è molto buono, peccato che non venga specificato da nessuna parte, nemmeno sul manuale il livello del rumore.

Ho acquistato l'UPS APC 900 VA – BVX900LI per proteggere i miei dispositivi elettronici e devo dire che sono estremamente soddisfatto della mia scelta. Questo UPS è molto efficiente nel garantire continuità di alimentazione durante i blackout e le interruzioni di corrente, permettendomi di lavorare senza interruzioni e di proteggere i miei dati preziosi. La configurazione è stata semplice e veloce. Il software incluso è intuitivo e mi permette di monitorare facilmente lo stato della batteria e il consumo di energia. Le dimensioni compatte lo rendono perfetto per spazi ridotti e il design moderno si integra bene con l'arredamento del mio ufficio domestico. L'unica nota negativa riguarda le luci a LED sul dispositivo. Sono piuttosto luminose e, se utilizzato in una camera da letto, possono risultare fastidiose durante la notte. Per chi, come me, è sensibile alla luce durante il sonno, potrebbe essere necessario coprire le luci o posizionare l'UPS in un luogo dove non disturbi. In conclusione, l'UPS APC 900 VA – BVX900LI è un prodotto di alta qualità che offre un'ottima protezione per i dispositivi elettronici. Nonostante le luci LED troppo luminose, consiglio vivamente questo UPS per la sua affidabilità e facilità d'uso.

Gekauft, weil meine alte USV nicht genügend Leistung hatte, um die neue Grafikkarte mitzubedienen und schon bei mittlerer Last anfing hektisch zu piepen. Da ich auf die Monitoringfunktionen nicht angewiesen bin, sondern nur gelegentliche Stromschwankungen und seltene kurze Stromunterbrechungen ausgleichen will, passt sie perfekt und hat auch genügend Leistung für alle angeschlossenen Geräte. Mich persönlich stört die Beleuchtung nicht, da der PC selbst so eine Art Mini-Disco ist, aber man sollte halt wissen, dass sie da ist und auch soweit ich gesehen habe, nicht ausgeschaltet werden kann.

Den saknar USB för notifiering till PC samt kräver lite specialkablar som inte ingår, bland annat nätkabel! Kan man leva med det så är den trevlig. Jo en sak till, den brummar inte helt lågt...
