Great battery and a great price!

This battery outperforms all previous iterations of the Nikon EN-EL15 series in terms of power delivery and duration. It is also backwards compatible. I bought this battery for my D500 and was not disappointed. I like the fact that I can charge this battery right in my Z6III camera using a USB-C cable. This is very useful for topping up the battery with my vehicle's charger (or a power bank) while driving between shooting locations. Delivery was overnight with Prime. I am happy with my purchase

Factory OE. Pricey but top quality. I also use third party clones that work fine.

I have tried non-OEM batteries, and they usually have some feature that does not work with the current or next version of the camera. I have found that while the Nikon brand batteries cost more, it is worth it.

Expensive unfortunately. There is no reason for the price to be so high and climbing every few months. They do last forever though!

I normally buy brand batteries , not " no-name " products or generic products for a 3500$ camera because in all the cases , I found that the generic ones were not as good. We're normally talking about as high as 40% less effective for generic batteries . I know sometimes some people don't have choice to use third party products and it's ok but when you still can have brand batteries from Nikon , it's worth it , always. As I talk a lot with users , non of the people I know says generic batteries can be as good or better. It's almost always lower performance in time... even when generic ones claim to give 1000 MAH more. Instead of bringing and charging 4 batteries a day , I charge only one and half or 2 . It's lightweight in my bag , it's less frustrating to change batteries when doing important things. If you pay 3500$ for your camera and are able to buy original batteries , normally you do. Battery power is the source of the camera . If the source is bad ... it may damage cameras or leak in it . I rarely heard about it but I wouldn't personnally try it. Give your cam the " food " it like the most.
