Nicest Spider you'll ever meet!
Love the color combo. Lids stay closed while shaken and stored on their side and haven't leaked yet.....The mixing spring can turn sideways during shaking if the shaking isn't done straight up and down like the instructions say. I shake them while sometimes holding the spout cap and some seem to be separating slightly at the hinge/pivot area, but doesn't seem to be an issue yet

Perfect
This mixes my protein powder better than my Vitamix. How? I have no idea.It gets rid of the clumps within seconds (I keep my Vitamix on for a minute), and best of all? My 8 ounce shake remains 8 ounces. When I use my Vitamix, an 8 ounce shake turns into 16 ounces of weird, foamy, creamy protein. It takes me far too long to drink it, and the thickness tends to make me gag. My Vitamix also makes my protein drink come out warm, no matter how much ice I used. (because of the thick foam, I guess)With this bottle, it came out smooth within seconds, and took me 5 seconds to chug it down. It was cold, even without ice. I use Almond Milk always, it seems to give the best taste and consistency with my powders.I even mixed a scoop of whey protein, a scoop of Super Grass(for my veggie and fruit supplement), and a teaspoon of Creatine.Only took seconds to mix, and 8 ounces remained 8 ounces. This thing is nearly silent, too. I watched videos of the conventional "ball" kind of protein shakers and the sound was so overwhelming.Cleaning is easy. You take out the spring, and wash the bottle like normal. The spring doesnt get in the way, and no, it's not hard to remove or awkward. The lid stays wide open like it should, and does not fall back down on your nose or anything. I'd hold it while you shake the bottle, of course, but it seems strong enough that you probably dont even need to; it'll stay closed on it's own.I havent tried out the compartments, but I look forward to keeping a weeks worth of multivitamins in the top one, and mixing my whey, creatine, and Amazing Grass together into the bottom one every morning, so I can mix it later at work.I'll update if I discover any powder escaping out the sides of the compartments, or water leaking in as I hand wash them...

Great design, poor execution
The design of this bottle is superb. I bought both the Maxi and Mini bottles. Having two containers below the bottle is a great feature, and I really love the design of the mixer. It works really quite well. My issue is with the seal on the top. No matter what I do, it will not fully seal, and leaks every time I drink from the bottle or shake it. Sometimes it is a small drip and other times it is quite a bit larger spill. This prevents me from rating this any higher. It may be an isolated issue with the bottle I received, but it is rather inconvenient. When I get the smaller bottle I'll be testing to see if it does the same thing.

Great thus far, will review again in a few months/year.
I purchased the Green and Black Maxi Shaker, which lists at 32oz. The measurements on the side of the cup goes up to 20oz but you can fill the cup up to the 32 like they list, however if you do so there wouldn't be any room for your nutritional items! As per the 5 start rating, I think it does it's job well.Parts:-Cap-Spring loaded mixer-Bottle (32oz max)-1 cup with pill sorter (can take pill sorter out), attaches under the bottle-1 bigger cup attaches under the pill sorter or under the bottle.*Note: the attachment cups can be screwed onto the bottle, either one, say you wanted just one compartments or both.I primarily use it for pre/post workout shakes. I use powders and oils and so far it mixes great. I had metamucil (I put this in last), protein powder, creatine (micronized), beta alanine, and MCT oil. Shook it for 20 seconds and it came out just as good as the blender I broke in 3 months. If you know metamucil or ever used it, it's very thick and it usually sucks to put it into a glass of water/drink and stir up because of the clumpiness. The shaker took care of the job! In addition to this, I shook it top bottom, sideways, upside down (I still put a finger on the top just to be incase) and there were no spills/drips or leaks. For those who complain about the cleaning, Just shake the thing up with soapy water after you're done with it, easy! I do have a brush incase the top part of the cap is not clean, but I haven't noticed that part get clumpy as of yet.I will definitely review this again in the future after further use and report back.

Works better than electric drink mixer
My sister gave me an electric mixer that was designed to mix protein powders into liquid drinks. It has something resembling a clover in the bottom of the cup. It has a pulse button that spins the little clover, causing a little cylone action in the liquid. The electric one works well for most powders, and I think she even got it from one of the prominent makers of dietary supplementation protein powder.I had already ordered the Spider Bottle when I received the electric mixer. So I used the electric model for a few days while awaiting the arrival of the SpiderMix Mini2 Go Shaker Bottle. But when it arrived, I abandoned the electric model completely, because the Spider works better. Unbelievable but true. Both are pretty easy to clean. One note for anyone considering their options - ignore the words, "Mini2 Go," which make the product sound like a smaller travel version. This cup has adequate capacity to be your only one. It is NOT small. It has additional compartments for storing dry goods like additional powder or supplement pills. My impression is that in order to use this cup with a car's cup holder, at least one of these extra compartments would have to be screwed onto the base of the cup, because without it, the base of the cup is too wide. In other words, adding each successive screw on compartment to the base add both height to the cup and narrows its base because they taper.
