The stand has a nice finish and holds my shaver and brush securely. The one big negative as other reviews have stated is the bottom of the base is a black felt like material and leaves a black stain on light colored countertops. I had to use bleach to get the black stain out. Now I have a folded Kleenex under the base to see if that will prevent further staining of my countertop. Time will tell.UPDATE: The Kleenex will prevent the base from staining your countertop. I’m the end it kept getting wet and needed to be replaced so I just purchased a different stand.

This is so much nicer looking than other stands. The brush holder is a little small for the handle of my brush, but it holds it fine to have the handle on top and the bristles slid in the slot. The razor fits just fine. If you bump it hard, the razor can slide/jump out, so be aware of that when you decide on a location. I bought it 7 months ago and the chrome still looks like new.

Love the looks! The razor side of the stand will not hold my Merkur 1904 hanging from the handle. When I hang my razor head up, it crashes into the frame, lies crooked from the blade alignment posts sitting cocked on the stand, and a small bump sends it flying.I'm afraid to adjust the fit because I do not want the chrome to crumble off. But, it holds the razor, and looks cool doing it. Even if the razor is not straight.Smooth, quality chromed metal, heavy base. There's probably a razor that fits beautifully, the gap is just too wide for my 1904's handle.

Great product. Looks good and if functional. I was pleased with the first one so ordered another.

Beautiful design. Unfortunately the top that holds the brush doesn't stick out far enough for the brush to hang over the bowl and under the stand is black velvet like padding that when wet leaves black stains on my sink.

Looks great, but as another reviewer noted the black felt bottom stained my counter top.May not be a problem if you have a dark counter.Holds my Baxter of California brush and Harry's razor just fine.

Had to post a review right away! Hesitant because of first review stated that it held razor crooked. It holds mine perfectly and looks amazing! Held my brush perfect too! Glad I bought this new stand! Looks awesome
