A definite must for people who live in a hurricane area were prone to lose electricity this is a hand crank radio. It works extremely well to give you access to power when your electricity goes out. I highly recommend you have this for emergency. I bought one for my sister who lives in southern Florida and it’s been of immense help through many hurricanes. We just moved to Florida and ended up buying one for ourselves. Priced very reasonably. Highly recommended.

with the current hurricane systems and possibilities being ever stronger this year getting a crank radio was at the top of our to do list. This one is super light weight and very convenient to carry and pack or keep in the emergency basket without taking up much room at all. It works perfectly after just a few cracks and we were able to pick up all kinds of stations without any interference

An excellent device for emergency situations when there is no electricity. The only drawback is that it is impossible to smoothly adjust the volume.

Bought it for emergencies. Haven’t used it yet but I tested it out. So far so good.

I am putting this unit with our disaster preparation kit.I will also use this for camping.It has many features, but the main one it provides is the capability to listen to the radio during disaster when power is out. you can use the crack for lights and radio. for AM, FM and Weather Broadcasts. Radio is very easy to tune and very clear. The flash light has 3 settings and is very bright.It was able to charge my Note 20 phone at normal(slow) charging speed. but with 4000mAh it will last a little. it does say you have to charge the battery with the cable first and the hand crank/solar is only to maintain the battery charge. I did try spinning it for one full minute, it is quite tiring to do so.The reading light also has a capability of proximity sensor. meaning you can set this out to detect possible intruders/creatures from your site. I tried this with our dog and it did turn on the light as soon as she is within 5 feet of the sensor.My only complain is that the solar charge can't charge the battery to be reused for charging your phone.I would totally recommend this item as part of survival/camping gear.

Well, I certainly didn’t expect to need to use this weather radio immediately! I got it in the event of an “emergency”....and we always think emergencies are far off events. The radio comes with a USB cable to charge, a small solar panel built in if you want to charge while outside, a lightning adapter, instructions, and everything you really need to make this a completely useful tool in the case of a weather emergency. I live outside of Nashville and the week of Christmas we had an emergency that cut off most communication in the entire area. I had already charged up the radio as soon as I got it, and was able to use the radio to get news. There was still power, so I didn’t need it to power devices, but it was wonderful to have stations to get news while all of our phones and televisions were out. The radio not only delivers stations, it also has charger ports for small items like phones, and a flashlight with several different settings. I love it and plan on getting another to carry in the car. This is a great item - highly recommend.
