Great piece that fits many engine models
This is a quality part and looks just like an OEM part that you find at a boat mechanic or parts store. It comes with cable clamps on both sides and the connector itself is made of a thick rubber that would take many years to wear down. 5/5 stars with no issues or complaints at all.

Feels the same as the one I'm replacing
Thick and heavy duty. Nice hose clamps. Feels exactly like the OEM one I'm replacing that got old and stiff and crusty.

Very Sturdy
This is a very thick and sturdy hose that I am using for something completely different than what it is intended for. I have a rain gutter at the side of my house and it goes to a drain pipe that runs under a planter and sidewalk. Where the two meet the joint was broken so it was not draining. Well I saw this and the measurements matched what I needed so I got one. It worked. Fit perfectly and like I said is very sturdy and well made and should last a long time for what I am using it for.

I used it to join two pieces of broken sewer pipe. It fits and works perfectly.
I'm not sure what the original application was for this part. I guess it's supposed to be for an exhaust pipe or something. I needed an easy way to repair a sewer pipe that cracked due to something exploding in my basement (it's a long story). I cut the cracked portion of the pipe out, slid this flexible piece into place, and tightened it down with the included band clamps. This repair works awesome, and it only took minutes to get done. It would have been an all-weekend job if I had used PVC pipe and solvent for the repair, but since I could deform the piece a bit, I could easily fit it into place between the two pipe sections. It's too bad that someone doesn't sell these in hardware stores for plumbing. It's a great way to make a quick PVC sewer pipe repair.

Appears to be very good quality.
I have to assume these will fit for their intended use. I intended to use one with my 4" dust collection system as a flexible cuff, but it did not fit (my fault). I'm used to the dimensions for describing pipe and tubes to be their I.D. size. These are listed as being 4", but the I.D. is actually 3-1/2". The wall thickness is about 5/16" for an O.D. of about 4-1/8". Again - my mistake. As long as you are working on the models specified, or the I.D. you need for your project is 3-1/2", I'm sure these will do the job nicely.

What looked like a great option.... Melted off pipe within 45 minutes
I thought this would be a great option. Easy to install, and clamps screwed down quick--keep in mind the screws are 7mm headStarted up the engine, and sounded great. I let it idle about 10 minutes, to clear and set, then took off. At 25 minutes, I noticed a light haze around me when idling, but went away as soon as I started moving again. Reached stopping point with no issues, and cut the engine.Letting things cool, about 10 minutes, I looked in to see how it looked.... To find that this new piece had completely melted off the pipe(!)Even granting that acceleration can increase exhaust temps, I would have thought the piece would hold up longer than 45 minutes......

Works just like a rubber Fernco coupling. Has 4" O. D. with 3.5" I. D.
This 4" rubber coupling seems identical to the common Fernco connectors used to join PVC pipe or anywhere a tight waterproof fitting is needed between two pipes. It's a thick and flexible piece of rubber that works exactly as it's supposed to with two clamps made out of 316 stainless steel to prevent corrosion in wet environments.Be aware that the 4" size is the outside measurement of the coupling. The inside diameter is 3.5".
